Lahat ng Kabanata ng Mafia Ruthless 2: Luciano's Forbidden Desire: Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

Chapter 20 ••~••°••~•• Luciano ••~••°••~•• “Pick your poison,” I urged, spreading out the weapons on the table. “Remember, you have to be very intentional with your form of torture. You know, to make it at least—enjoyable.” I gave him a smile that had no warmth in it. I'm homicidal right now, not a fucking smiling fairy. There's no need to give him hope that he'll live, because he wouldn't. I'm standing in the warehouse with Nicholas and Marco standing close enough, watching the entire scene play out while my brother, Alessandro is right outside still negotiating with the fucking Russians. Damn, I hate those people. Not after what they did to Alessandro. Locking him up and torturing him afterwards, and the bastard only took all of it just to impress the woman he loves. I almost rolled my eye at the memory. Love is for fools. The only reason we are at the warehouse and not at the torture chamber back at Alessandro’s is because his wife declined it. She said she didn't want a

Chapter 22*~°*~°*~°*Elizabeth*~°*~°*~°*We all kneel in the chapel, bowing our heads against the hard wooden pew, muttering our Lord's prayer.I'm so exhausted that I zone off during the prayers. My thoughts drifting to a specific someone. When I asked him to leave, did he really leave just like that?Something I can't put a grasp on makes my heart sting. Maybe it's because I didn't expect him to leave without saying another word.Instinctively, my hand flies to my neck, grazing against the mark Luciano left on me and memories of that night in his cabin comes flooding back. Luciano on top of me.His hands on my breasts, doing things I didn't think was possible. Making me feel in an amazing kind of way.I'm not possessed, but I really liked it. I loved it when he touched me.I bit down on my lip. A pleasant buzz spreads through my body. I wrapped a hand around myself so my body doesn't start reacting.Hold on. What's that smell? It doesn't belong here. It's sharp and acrid… Is some

Chapter 24 *~°*~°*~°* Elizabeth *~°*~°*~°* Oh, holy gracious! There is an anonymous tip from someone so kind who has decided to help us secure a better place just close to the convent that got caught up in the fire. The building that will be handed to us is quite old and out of place, but whoever it is that decided to help us out also promised to renovate the place. Thank you dear Lord. I almost lost hope when I heard Mother Roselyn discussing with one of the priests, Father Bernard that she exhausted her strength in calling our sponsors, donators and none seemed very willing to help. In fact, a few hung up on her. So this new anonymous tip is definitely a silver lining. All the sisters are whispering about it, they don't seem to know who the new donator is. Which is why I'm here—standing at the other side of Mother Roselyn’s office—eavesdropping. I made sure the coast was clear before making my way here. If anyone sees me, I don't think I would be able to get myself out o

Chapter 26 *~°*~°*~°* Elizabeth *~°*~°*~°* I wake up to the sound of the bell. Not the usual, commanding one that summons us to morning prayer. This one is different and I'm not sure what it is for. My eyes fluttered open, my body felt heavier than usual, my mind fogged with fragments that refused to arrange themselves. For a moment, I think I dreamed it all. The blood. My window creaking open. And then him in my room. I sit up too quickly, my head spinning. What happened? Why can't I remember vividly? My eyes scanned the room checking for anything unusual or out of place, but my room looks the same. Everything is where is should be—the crucifix above my bed, my folded habit resting neatly on the chair. Everything is as it should be. And yet, I can't seem to shake off the feeling that he was here. Wait a minute… I lifted my trembling fingers to my lips, noticing the phantom pressure there. I squeeze my eyes shut trying to recall details but they are all scattered leav

Chapter 28 ••~••°••~•• Luciano ••~••~°••~•• Someone is playing risky games with us. And not the kind that you can just turn a blind eye to—No. It's the type of game that makes you want to burn the entire fucking city down. We're all here except Alessandro, who is out on a vacation with his wife, Isabelle. She made us swear to her that we'll never call him for business talks till they're back. No one dares go against a determined woman trying to have an alone time with her husband, so that's what we did—we left Alessandro out of it. The warehouse smells like fresh blood and gunpowder and I can bet my left ball that someone else is getting killed tonight. I sit at the head of the table, jacket off, sleeves rolled, with maps spread before us—shipping routes, dock schedules and names all circled in red. Men I'll likely kill before the week ends. “We were robbed?! What the fuck?” Marco, who is sitting to my right exclaims. “In our own fucking city?!” He's right. No one has ever
