Lahat ng Kabanata ng Seducing The Mafia Lord's Stepbrother : Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

Antonio’s POVThe five hours dragged along, and eventually, it was time. I waited an extra thirteen minutes so I would not look too eager for what was about to happen. Then, I went over to my private gym. It actually used to be the former lounge; I had kept some part of that, making it a sort of mashup between a gym and a mini-lounge. It probably wasn't one of the best choices I had ever made, but I enjoyed it because what could be better than having a drink and then lifting weights, in whatever order they came?I was already dressed in a black shirt and sweatpants. From the door, I could see that Carlos was wearing half of my outfit—sweatpants, but nothing else other than the sweat running down his muscles. I looked away from him quickly, my eyes gravitating towards the someone else who was supposed to be there.I froze immediately when I saw her. She was wearing boxer briefs and a shirt I knew belonged to Carlos. She was wearing his shirt. That would explain his state of half-nudity

Amy’s POVAfter Antonio was finally semi-satisfied with my form, he took a step back, and I was finally able to take a break from inhaling his scent. It was a masculine musk mixed with the crisp smell of his cologne—an amazing cocktail of scents that I found incredibly distracting. Looking up at his full height, I held my breath as I took in all six-foot-seven inches of raw power and strength."Now, stick your thumb under your other fingers. Swing in a slight curve. Now aim and punch."I did exactly that, or as close as I could. He shook his head, hardly impressed. "Try again," he said. "Put more energy into it. I can hardly feel your punches at all. Try harder."So I did. I threw three more punches, yet they had no effect. It was as if every punch I swung was hitting a brick wall. No movement, no reaction—nothing. In fact, it was my own knuckles that were beginning to hurt. But Antonio was a stern teacher; he wasn't letting me off easy. He held my wrist, refusing to let go."You can't

Amy’s PovI was now at the center of the store alone. Antonio didn't look like he wanted to leave, but I could see that his hands were tied. Beyond our plan, he was still one of the biggest mob bosses in the city. I could only imagine that his plate was full all the time, yet when he wasn't actively avoiding me, he went out of his way to spend time with me—all for the act, of course, but he did it.I didn't want him to feel like he was babysitting me, so I smiled with all the confidence I could muster, squeezing his arm. It had little effect on him, but he felt it enough to glance down at me."If you need to go, go. I can hold my own here."His lips drew into a tight line. He lowered himself to whisper in my ear, "Some of my people are dressed in casual clothes both here and outside the boutique. The car will be waiting for you, and one of them will escort you out. Ask them to show you their tattoo before they do so."Finally, he pulled out his black card. "This has no spending limit

Antonio’s POVHe unloaded a wad of spit out of his mouth. I barely flinched. I had seen worse than that. "He has been quite uneasy ever since he saw you with your latest woman," Diego said, stepping closer, his trembling fingers trying to balance the cigarette and lighter that he had only barely managed to fish out of his pockets. He was too pathetic to actually hate anymore, but when he had talked about her as my latest woman, it made my blood heat up. "Other than her, is there anything else?" He finally managed to bring out the first flicker of light, missed the cigarette completely, and continued anyway. "There has been talk of a big shipment. This is the real deal. It wasn't easy for me to get a hold of this information. Enzo is getting suspicious. He's putting the pieces together. He definitely knows that there's a rat somewhere." He finally dipped the cigarette back into his pocket after failing to light it up one more time. "If he finds out about me, I'm going to be a goner, a

Antonio’s POVI pushed my arms further onto the counter, my weight resting harder on the stool in my bathroom. I turned left and right, then over to one of my soldiers I had left in disguise to guard my bunny. He wasn’t trembling, but he looked like he would break right into it every time I looked away. For the umpteenth time, I swished the glass in my hand, the liquid within swaying along with the movements."I'm going to need you to repeat that again," I commanded. My voice was low but rang clear. "Tell me exactly what happened. I left you in charge; I know when I did so, I was not expecting to be reported back with incompetence. Was I, Marco?"He was now beginning to visibly sweat, his eyes not daring to pass my chin as he spoke. "But Boss, you told us to expect that to happen. Something else came up, so we..."I slammed the glass back down, nearly shattering it on impact. "You left her by herself because something came up? Do you hear yourself right now?"I was trying and failing
