Grace’s POV I stood up and walked to the front of the room. Without rushing, I connected the screen and brought up the slides from the previous report. “I believe we should look at this again,” I said calmly. The room grew quiet. I moved to the first chart and pointed at the numbers. “These collaborations brought in the highest profit this quarter,” I said. “And they were all handled by Caleb.” I switched to the next slide. “These ones,” I continued, “were managed by Gabriel.” There was a clear difference. Lower returns. Poor growth. Some of them were barely making profit. Murmurs spread across the table. I did not stop; I showed a few more slides. “So, based on performance alone,” I said, “Caleb is more suitable to lead the company.” One of the directors frowned and raised his hand. “That may be true,” he said, “but the company’s biggest client, The Cole, is managed by Gabriel.” I nodded slightly. “I expected that question.” I changed the slide
