Liam didn't know how much he had walked. When he finally had time and the right state of mind to check his surroundings, he realized he was far away from the large hall.He was standing in what seemed like an hallway with only a dim light to help find his way. Not that it mattered to him where he was going. He just wanted to be away from everyone. The hallway seemed deserted, the perfect place for him to let everything out without anyone watching him so he rested on the wall and gently slid down to the bare floor; sitting on it like someone who had given up on life.He had indeed given up, on his own life; the very thing that was meant to make him happy. She had found someone else and discarded him like he was nothing to her.He stared at the white ceiling silently, the happy moments between he had his mate flashed through his head in what seemed like a short movie; making it seem like he was at his last moments.Who knew things would end up like this between them? Avery.. his Avery w

☆About ten minutes ago☆《Avery's POV》I smiled as I watched Albert chase after Jenny like one who's love sick. Even if he had been showing Jenny otherwise, I could see the affection in his eyes when he approached her today. If he wasn't interested like he had claimed, he wouldn't have come over, he wouldn't have complimented her in such a sincere manner and he wouldn't even chased after her."Avery... shouldn't we stop him?" Savannah asked, pulling me out of my thoughts."No.. it's seems they need an heart to heart talk with each other to settle out their issues." I answered."What issues?? After everything Jenny has told us, I don't think she would want to see him and I don't even blame her." Savannah said. She's right!!"I know but I just feel we should let them be. If it doesn't work out like I envisioned, we'll just make him stop lurking around her. Knowing him, he might even do it himself."Savannah sighed softly;"I hope you're right.""Yeah... me too." I thought to myself.A wa

《Avery's POV》■Marcus' mansion■My eyes slowly fluttered open and I was faced with the same familiar room. The closed curtains had been opened already and the sunlight brightened up the room, adding to its beauty.I yawned with a small body stretch before sitting up on the bed. Last night's events flashed in my head, making me smile happily. The party was one of the few ones I had genuinely enjoyed.Everything was so perfect last night. I was with my friends and Marcus and we all danced amd drank the night away without any worries in the world. To think that I was going to miss something this good. And better, Liam and Riley's photos should be trending in the internet by now. I made sure to send it to a reporter I knew yesterday. Now, everyone will see the lying and cheating scums they both are."What's making you this happy?" I heard a gruff voice beside me. My eyes widened in shock and I let out a loud yelp."What the hell!!" I screamed as I jumped out of the bed. He laughed when h

I swallowed hard when he moved my legs and laid in between them. He moved his face downwards, his breath fanning my face. Then he closed his eyes and I instinctively closed mine too.Through my closed eyes, I could feel him moving closer and closer to me. My heartbeat became so loud that I feared he could hear it. I badly wanted to look, to see him to what he wanted to do but I figured it was best to keep my eyes closed; it makes it wven more hotter and romantic that way. What am I even saying? Seconds felt like long hours as I was in that position with him and I felt nothing. When I got impatient of waiting for him to do what he had intended, my eyes fluttered open and I saw him staring at me like I was an interesting book. His lips curved into a taunting grin as his eyes flickered with interest."Why did you close your eyes?" Was the first question that left his damned mouth. My heart skipped a beat once more and I could feel more heat creeping to my face. What's worse is that th
