Exhausted

CALEB’S POV‘Due to fighting right after first shift has drained her energy. First shift is always painful and needs rest for our body to accept this process.’ After checking her, doctor was giving his opinion to me. I immediately brought her into my room, couldn’t let anyone know the reality of our relationship, doctor was already waiting for us, and quickly started checking her up.According to him there was nothing to worry, it was just the natural process she was going through, and her body needed a rest after going through an exhausting shift and fight cycle. I nodded, dismissing him and sitting down on the side of the bed. Her face has lost all the color; I miss her red cheeks and pink lips. She was so lightweight when I had picked her up that I doubted for a moment if she eats well.It is still hard to believe, if I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I would have never dared to give a damn to this story. Those piercing blue eyes, I s

Wake Up!

LILITH’s POV‘Where am I?’ I was looking at my surrounding with astonishment, taking cautious steps forward. My surroundings were covered with greenery; tall trees can be seen at distant surrounding the area in circles. I was baffled; I had never seen this place or heard about it. It was beautiful indeed but where was I? This question was lingering repeatedly in my head, and nothing was making sense to me.As I was moving forward barefooted on the grass, I heard the water falling, the sharp noise perked my ears up and I directed my feet to follow the noise. I was stunned at the scene, the clear water was falling from the mountain, pouring down on the river that has its own way forward, my eyes were moving with the flow of water, when it caught a wolf sitting afar looking at me.It was attraction, as if I was bound by those blue eyes that were encouraging me to come forward and I quietly walked until we both came face to

She is Upset

CALEB’s POVIt’s been three days; I was pacing beside the bed giving a quick glance at her occasionally. Ethan has gone to take the doctor. According to him she was now better and can wake up anytime soon, but three hours had passed when he said this to me and she hadn’t opened her eyes yet.I stopped to look at her face, the colors were back on her face, and she is not pale anymore. Her breathing is fine, everything looks good, she did not have any injury so no concern of it than why she is still unconscious. This one question has left me restless, I couldn’t stop worries and bad thoughts crawling in my mind and that’s the reason I asked Ethan to go and bring the doctor because he said to me that he is busy with a patient. How dare he prioritize someone else over his Luna; he needs to be taught a lesson.‘Alpha’ I continued my pacing when Ethan’s voice halted me and I spin on my heels to fi

Show Off

LILITH’s POVI was standing in front of the mirror, giving final touch to my prep for the gym. Last night, Noah came to me with my dinner and informed me that Caleb wants me to be available in the morning for the training. Though I was still feeling tiredness and was a bit lazy I agreed with him and here I was getting ready in my pale yellow T-shirt and black leggings with matching sneakers and high ponytail.‘How’s am looking?’ after waking up, I was so fumed up on Caleb that I did not talk to anybody and stayed in my room, not even called Irene to have a chit chat with her, but today I was in good mood, feeling energetic and happy to have my Irene back. I don’t even want to recall last few days when Irene was not here, and I missed her a lot but due to my anger I never called her.Seeing Caleb was also a nerve wracking for me, because watching him makes me realize my weakness strongly and I couldn’t suppress

A Lady

CALEB’s POVI wanted to applaud my mate for being so brave and selfless for the pack, she deserved the admiration and love from her pack, after all, she wasn’t just Luna, she was ready to sacrifice herself for the pack and was a white wolf, an honor for this pack. The news about her being the white wolf has spread like a fire in a forest and in a day, everyone has talked about her wolf and how she jumped in front of the rogue, moreover, how ruthless she was with them. Pack members were pleased and worried at the same time about her health but since she was fine now, a wave of cheer and joy ran in the pack and they wanted to meet her, thank her for saving the kids.It was all planned after she woke up and was doing fine, I took the training time as an opportunity to applaud her, members were excited and I was more than happy. A proud mate would be the best explanation of my emotions right now. Noah opened the door, alerting all of us

Her Motive

LILITH’S POVI was looking my mate with confusion and fear. I watched him turning from soft to cold and honestly, if I couldn’t figure out the reason for him being soft and considerate with me, I was also unable to understand the coldness in his personality.I believe it was because of the lady that had come to visit us and was specifically looking to meet me, I bit down my lower lip and blinked my eyes twice to not let them weep.‘Does he think that I know that woman and somehow have any link with wolves out of the pack’ a thought creep up in my mind and how straight his face was I couldn’t deny the thought rather accept it.‘It’s not like that Lilith’ Irene, his savior came up in his support, but I wasn’t listening to her, I was just feeling the coldness, as if his heart has turned into stone excluding tiny bit of the emotions. Ethan and Noah were following us quietly, members in the

Her Pack

CALEB’S POVI was looking at the old women right in front of my eyes with horror. Her hair has turned completely grey, face is wrinkled, but she was standing tall and confident as if she knew what she was here for, what impact she could have on us and what she was doing to us.‘Kaden are you sure that she isn’t a witch?’ I quietly connected to him and asked, at this moment only he is the one I can rely upon.‘She isn’t buddy. Can’t you inhale her wolf?’ Kaden was worried about what she had said and my repeated question just shot the wave of irritation into him.‘I can, but she is different. I can’t get to her pack, they are pack less but not rogue, how come? I never heard of it?’ I took a deep breath, when I received a utter silence from my wolf. I must compose myself; I am the Alpha of the strongest pack and have power, authority and control, she won’t have a chance

Who is She?

MARGARET’S POVSouth Hill Pack was the strongest pack not only in this region but to farthest regions as well. Our strength wasn’t dependent on training and workouts or how good we were in fighting rather than our power lies within ourselves. We were the pack known for the rare wolves, every wolf in the pack has its unique trait and that was its power, its strength. Our pack was meant to bring the stability to the lives of werewolves, and we lived with purpose and our purpose was to prosper other packs. While other packs were struggling to built an army of its warriors and outlining their border and keeping guard to it, South Hill Pack never drew the border around his pack and kept it open for every wolf who wanted to seek help and protection.Despite living the selfless life, our pack was the happiest and content, our pack members find joy by helping others and that was the sole purpose of our existence, it wasn’t decided by u

Grief

LILITH’S POVI couldn’t believe what she said, her words were still echoing in my ears.I the Alpha? I called out to Irene if she knew something like that, but she was quiet. I sighed and found it best to hear her out, she was telling her story of what happened to her pack or more likely to my pack, South Hills Pack. While rolling out the pack name, it sounded a sense of connection, it was strange because I have never lived in this pack, but it wasn’t enough. This old Lady, who has just called me her Alpha was attracting me towards her. I am unable to define the pull I as getting off from her, as if I had known her whole my life or somewhere I was yearning for the same aura that was coming from her and she is the one, a bond one has with the family.I shrug the thought instantly; it can’t be true. I have my parents and yes, I am the Alpha daughter, daughter of Oberon Thornton, Alpha of Greenwoods Pack. I recalled i

Chamber

CALEB’S POVTwenty four hours have passed since we found out the truth about my mate’s origin and her pack. I had my doubts taking to her white wolf and indifference of her father towards her. Things never fit well, whenever I try to compare. She doesn’t look like any of them, neither Oberon nor his mate, in fact she has completely different personality after what I have heard about the Alpha and Luna of Greenwood Pack.I was assuming her to be like them, but she has proved me wrong not once but many times since she has been in this pack, specifically how she was concerned for Ethan and his mate, despite she being the rogue. My suspicions were getting strong, but I wasn’t getting any lead on how to confirm it besides, South Hill Pack did not cross my mind as this pack was cleaned up two decades ago.I exhaled a deep breath and rested my head on the back of my chair. Lilith passed out twice yesterday, but second time happe
