Eliana’s POV I loved the look on his face when I walked out on him. He’d been the one doing the rejecting until today. How could he expect me to be available to him when he was in the mood to put our age difference and his worries aside and then return to the side whenever he had no need of me and his guilt returned? He dared to kiss another woman in front of me but gets pissed when a man holds me? Pathetic. It was time to give my speech. This is what I had prepared: “As some of you may know, I am Eliana Garcia. On the 10th anniversary of the successful growth of G.E Company, I want to congratulate Jackson Garcia, my father, the most amazing man in the world. The best parent anyone could ever ask for. He’s never missed an important part of my life, be it parties, school events e.t.c. I can tell the journey to this point wasn’t easy, he balanced work and parenthood and today, He’s one of the most successful men in the city. Dad, your remarkable example has set a path for me. Tha

Eliana’s POV How can a person be so clueless? I wondered as I paced back and forth in the bathroom. God! The man was an idiot! I didn’t want to see him again for the rest of the evening. Seconds turned into minutes, I knew it was time to leave the bathroom. “I wonder what I even saw in him!” I said to myself as I stepped out. Someone blocked my way. “Excuse me—” Oh, it was just Ashton.“What an interesting little secret you have. Honestly, I was blown away by the intensity of the passion I just witnessed.” He said with a coy smile.“What are you talking about?” I asked, confused, refusing to believe he was talking about Mr. Scott and me. “Don’t play dumb with me darling. You know exactly what I’m talking about. Goodness! I knew uncle Scott was bad but this, it’s so fucking bad.” He laughed hysterically.“Uncle? He’s your uncle?” I was confused.“Yes, cupcake. So here’s the thing, you give me a taste and your secret is safe with me.” His expression was no longer that of the calm and

Eliana’s POV I always felt safe around my family—my dad and my aunt but right now, I just wanted to be alone. What if Mr. Collin decides to tell my dad about Mr. Scott and me?“Eliana dear, I brought you some yogurt. Can I come in?” That was my aunt. It was barely ten minutes since I told her I didn’t want to speak to anyone. “Aunt—”“I know what you’re about to say, Eliana. I promise, I won’t try to start a conversation. I just want to give you this and at least see how you’re doing.”“Fine.” I said. I got off the bed sluggishly. “Come in.” I said, exhaling. There was no need to punish them for something that wasn’t their fault. I started all of this. How long did I think I could hide from all of this? Forever? “Seriously? You’re letting me inside—” I cut her off with my raised brow and folded arms. She knew exactly what the look was for. Hadn’t she promised not to ask questions?“I’m sorry… Here you go.” She said in a small voice and handed me the yoghurt. What the hell was I doi

Eliana’s POV “Arrgh! Fuck me harder baby. Yes! Fuck me with that big dick.” The blonde kept repeating as he fucked her. Anger and pain filled me but there was nothing I could do. Somehow, this was my fault. We arrived in London two weeks ago and he’d promised to protect me and keep away from me— keep his hands off me. He was playing the part of a good best friend to my dad and a good uncle to me. If I hadn’t told him never to touch me and acted disgusted by him, maybe things would be different. Why couldn’t he just understand me? He was supposed to put in a little effort into winning me back. Was I wishing for too much? The sound of the bed squeaking and hitting hard on the wall snapped me out of my thoughts. Why was I outside his door listening to him and his new girlfriend fuck? I had tried for two weeks, two fucking weeks, still, nothing. I’ve dressed like a slut, tried everything in the book of seduction 101, still, nothing.Soon, I heard him grunt— his

Eliana's POV So much for a new beginning. All my confidence disappeared. The school had seemed quite easy to locate when I had looked it up on my phone's GPS. I scanned my environment in confusion wondering what to do and if going back home was the best thing to do. "You can do this. You can do this." I repeated, over and over again. If my phone wasn't helping, then I'll locate the school like every other normal human would— I'll ask for directions from people. It was easier said than done. I couldn't find anyone that looked friendly, not in a rush or even someone to pause for a few seconds for me to ask for help. Stressed out and ready to give up, I saw a strawberry blonde girl, a little disorganized but friendly looking. As she walked hurriedly, flipping through pages of the huge book she carried, I quickly followed. "Hi! I'm Eliana. I'm looking for—" "You're American?" She said, cutting off. "Yes." I said, slowly, uncertain if it was a good thing or a bad thing. "I s
