Lahat ng Kabanata ng Mated To My Tribrid Lycan Mate: Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

"What are you doing here?" She demanded, her eyes blaze with a rage while she flexed her fingers as if she was counting. Maybe she was. I had noticed her do it before, now that I think of it. Standing tall and growling at me now, still dressed in her suit from the meeting earlier, which I didn't dare to take off of her, she looked... positively dangerous.Scary. Confident. As though she knows exactly what it is that she wants and is not afraid to take it. And maybe she does."Oh, hey," I said, wincing at how shaky my voice sounded. "You're awake," I added, too pathetic for my liking. She didn't answer, however. Instead, she crossed her arms over her chest and eyed me from head to toe."Has it become a thing for you to cook in my kitchen? This is the second time I have found you in here without my permission," she said, tapping her feet in the process. "I don't like it when people step into my personal space uninvited." She added.I swallo

My chest constricted at the sight of her tears, and I quit breathing for some seconds. "Who ever said anything about pity?" She swiped at her cheeks as her chin quivered. "Isn't it? It clearly shows it is, and perhaps, it may be because I told you I was on the spectrum. News flash, being on the spectrum doesn't mean I am incapable. I'm DIFFERENT, not incapable, and for that exact reason, you don't need to offer me your pity-filled friendship.""There's nothing pitiful in the friendship I want with you, Sherneil. I just want to be your friend.""Is this how friends are supposed to be treated? Is this how you treat Tabitha? What about those men you were with? We're mates, Mav. If we aren't going to reject one another, then this isn't just a friendship for me. If we are doing this, then we have to fully be into it. You would be my other half and I, yours. I don't want just friendship, I don't want the mere idea of being acquaintances. I want someth

SHERNEIL. I listened as he told me about his banishment. About his first few months as he struggled with the pain of being banished, and all I could think of, all I could imagine, was how he had survived those gruesome years of pain. Here is the bottom line, this was the first time I was having a deep conversation with someone, other than Robyn, and I didn't know what the acceptable reactions were to all the information he was providing. I could identify feelings of fury, heartbreak, concern... but was it acceptable for me to let any of them out or even to experience them? This wasn't my experience, but his. This didn't happen to me; if so, did I even have the right? Would he want me to hug him or offer words of comfort? That is, if I could even find them. Or would he consider it to be pity... like I had taken his offer of friendship. Since I was overwhelmed with all these loud thoughts and feelings, I focused on the one thing I knew I could offer, the one thing I knew best. I lis

I brought my hands up to his cheeks and leaned closer into his embrace. It felt... right, even with the raging tension and emotions being tossed around, it still felt right. Which was why when he dragged me to the sofa and sat down before pulling me into his lap, I didn't argue. I simply rested my head on his chest and listened to him as he spoke. "Amadi never pushed me towards accepting the bond, because apparently, he knew that once we accept the bond and he turns rogue, your wolf turns rogue with him, while you and I hover between sanity and insanity," he whispered, as I felt the way his throat bounced when he swallowed. "He didn't want to risk it. I didn't know about that. All the while, I thought he felt the same way I did. Unworthy, but it turns out Amadi's fear was valid. At some point, I was hoping Baba would agree to retract the banishment and I would become a member of the kingdom once again. For your sake, despite not wanting to ever belong t

Germs are everywhere. There are likely more on my hands. My saliva is made to kill germs. I am fine. This is fine. This is "normal". Missing my routine doesn't have to ruin my day. I am awake. I am safe. I am okay. I kept chanting those words as I swiped the brush back and forth in my mouth. Brush. Floss. Rinse. Brush. Floss. Rinse. Brush. Floss. Rinse. Thrice. I've done that thrice already. Seven. That number soothes me, so I just continue until I have repeated the three steps for seven complete cycles. I cannot seem to settle, still. Can't seem to handle the growing panic in my chest. Am I worried about the texture, the germs, the newness, or possibly what this means moving forward? No idea. This should be enough to get rid of the concerns surrounding last night's kiss right? I mean, what was I even thinking of by agreeing to that kiss? It made no sense that a serious conversation had si
