Lahat ng Kabanata ng His Untouchable Omega: Kabanata 81 - Kabanata 90

The violet beam hissed through the air, barely missing my ear. It hit a pile of rusted iron behind me, melting the metal into a puddle of glowing slag. I scrambled back, pulling Leo closer to my chest. My heart was thumping against my ribs. Malakor was supposed to be a memory, a shadow of the past. But here he was, standing in the center of the Forge like a ghost made of scrap metal and hate."Malakor, stop!" I shouted. "It’s Lyra! We fought together! Don't you remember?"The man didn't blink. The violet lenses in his eye sockets pulsed with a steady, robotic light. He tilted his head, the gears in his mechanical neck clicking. "Lyra... Subject 101. Status: Defective. Goal: Termination.""He’s gone, Lyra," Mira whispered, her voice full of pity. "The Architect didn't just kill him. He hollowed him out. H

The Forge was screaming. Red-hot liquid metal bubbled up from the floor, melting the piles of junk into a hissing sea of fire. I felt the heat through my boots, but the cold grip on my ankle was worse. Malakor’s human hand was gone, replaced by a silver clamp that squeezed my bone until I heard it pop. His violet eyes were empty, glowing with the command of a dead god."Let go of me!" I roared.I swung the Star-Breaker. The silver blade hissed through the air, cutting through Malakor’s mechanical arm like it was soft wax. He didn't scream. He just stared at me as his body tumbled backward into the rising lava. For a second, I saw his lips move. "Run," he whispered. Then he was gone, swallowed by the red heat. But I couldn't run. I looked up, and my heart stopped.

The air in the library didn't just get cold; it died. I looked down at Leo, and my heart stopped beating for a second. My sweet boy, my little light, was gone. In his place was a small, hollow shell filled with an endless, swirling darkness. His eyes were like two holes in the universe, sucking in the light from the silver lamps above us."Leo?" I whispered. My voice was shaking. I reached out a hand to touch his cheek, but a spark of black lightning jumped from his skin, stinging my fingers. I pulled back, the pain sharp and cold."He is not your son anymore, Lyra," the librarian said. He was backed against a wall of books, his face white with terror. "By shattering the Star-Breaker, you broke the seal. The Star-Eater was always inside him. It was waiting for you to become weak.""Shut up!" Rowan roared. He stepped

The silver spear bit into my shoulder, pinning me against the cold metal wall. I screamed, but the sound was drowned out by the splash below. My arms went empty. The weight of my son, the only thing that kept me sane, was gone. I watched Leo’s small body vanish into the deep, swirling red of the blood pit."Leo!" I roared. The man who used to be Malakor stepped forward, his violet screen flickering. He raised his second spear, the tip dripping with black poison. "Subject 101. Extraction failed. Proceeding to total deletion.""Go to hell!" I spat.I didn't care about the spear in my shoulder. I didn't care about the pain that felt like a white-hot coal pressed against my bone. I grabbed the shaft of the spear with both hands and pulled. My own blood slicked the meta

The man standing before me had Rowan’s face. He had the same strong jaw, the same broad shoulders, and the same scar on his chin from a fight we had won together. But his eyes were wrong. They weren't the warm, golden eyes of my husband. They were flat, silver mirrors that reflected nothing but the cold lights of the dying Spire."Rowan?" I whispered, my voice breaking. I tried to reach for him, my fingers trembling. "You're alive? How?"He didn't answer with words. He lunged. The move was too fast for a human. He was a blur of black cloth and silver steel. The star-gown dagger hissed through the air, aimed directly at Leo’s throat. I rolled to the side, the blade slicing through the shoulder of my tunic. The coldness of the weapon left a trail of frost on my skin."Rowan, stop! It’s us!" Isaac shouted. He stepped forward, raising his hands to protect me and the baby. The thing that looked like Rowan didn't hesitate. He spun in a perfect circle, his heavy boot hitting Isaac in the che
