Martil’s povFrank was obviously receiving a phone call from his Bluetooth as his eyes roamed around the club, searching for what I wasn’t aware of.“Hey, bastard!” Kaleb tapped him.At the moment he looked back, a punch collided with his face. I touched Kaleb’s shoulder to pause. That punch would be the least he’d get if he didn’t tell the truth this time around.“You said you didn’t know who that man was.” I said, rubbing my nose slightly. The club was getting more filled up, more occupied dancing poles and more dollars flying around. “I don’t know what you are talking about.” Frank responded with a clean expression.Damn, he really learnt from the best. But he wasn’t so good at it because in the next two minutes, that cool expression would crack.I touched the tape of his neck through his shirt and squeezed down. It was light but a very strong one that could make him think twice before he said the wrong thing again.“I won’t ask you again, Frank.” I warned him.“You said you didn’

Martil’s pov“Are you fucking your stepsister already?” Kaleb asked the moment I opened the car door and slipped to the passenger seat beside him.I rolled my eyes. “Dude, mind your business.”“Hm.” He chuckled before looking at me. “But you like her, don’t you?” I sighed. “She is my stepsister.”“Nigga, stop emphasizing on that shit. I hate hearing it. You want her? Fucking go for her.” He hissed.I rubbed my eyes. I didn’t know why I was still having doubts about it. I mean, I was being a responsible person by considering the fact that we were step siblings. It was one of the reasons why I couldn’t bring myself to fuck her yet. I didn’t want to break her heart or rip the family apart because it’d be a taboo relationship.“I know.” I muttered. It’s already hard controlling myself around her. If it continued, I was surely going to fuck her. Corleone was also needy of it so why not?“Let’s leave.” I said,Kaleb removed his hands from the wheel. “We came here to do something. Why are w

Corleone’s pov Martil had an innocent look on his face but behind that was a smug smile that I wanted to smack off in an instant. There was gunpowder and car racing that made me almost made me rench my guts out in disgust. I didn’t feel safe at all. Especially not after what happened tonight, not after I saw him too. The images flashed inside my head before I could stop it. It was the same — a steadily pointed gun and his empty expression. It didn’t look like that was new to him. He looked like he was used to it, like firing a gun and killing someone was the same as exhaling carbon dioxide. My chest tightened at the memory mixed with regret of following him out of the club that belonged to him. Now, I couldn’t unsee all that I had seen. “I am talking to you, Corleone.” My gaze returned back to my mom who had now stood up from the couch. I didn’t see her new husband, Liam anywhere around. Had he slept or probably gone to one of his overnight meetings again? My mom looked at me

Martil’s povI couldn’t sleep. Midnight never felt like this. I mean, I was either out or busy with something else. Although, I never slept well in some days. But nights like these were very rare. It wasn’t quiet, still or safe. Instead, it felt like hunger. A terrible hunger that I couldn’t overlook.I stood up from the bed and walked out of the room I visited once in every two weeks. The hallway outside her room stretched like it had no end, dim lights flickered. It literally looked like I didn’t belong here. Of course, I didn’t but it seemed like it was her house. My feet stopped right in front of her room door. I shouldn’t be here. That thought had followed me from the moment I left my room barefooted and silently moving like a ghost through my own house. But it didn’t stop me. There was nothing about Corleone that I ever did. My hand hovered over her door knob.I pushed it once and that was all it would take to cross a line I wouldn’t come back from, to ruin whatever fragile con

Martil’s povI watched her sleep naked, my arms wrapped around her breasts around 4am. I fucked her for so long until she became very tired.Yet, I was still so hard one would think I hadn’t had sex for a year and half. It was that serious. Corleone’s body was one of a kind. The way she took my dick into her warm pussy each time I pulled out and slid back in. The way she clung into my chest like I was her last lifeline. I lost count of the total number of times she cried out and moaned my name.I kissed her forehead and stood up from her bed, leaving the room without making the slightest noise. The hallway was empty. I reached my room and locked the door behind me.“Fuck.” I allowed the cold water run down my head, to other parts of my body.I tried not to get distracted by her thoughts that wanted to creep into my mind. It was time to work.“Who were those guys?” I asked, getting to the clubhouse.Kaleb was there, waiting for me with Ink on the call.“They were certainly from Rafe.”
