Lahat ng Kabanata ng On My Ex's Brother's Bed: Kabanata 111 - Kabanata 120

Ruby's POV  I woke up again in the same room. The same white light burned overhead, stabbing through my eyes until I had to turn my face away. My wrists and ankles were still strapped down, tight, unyielding. And the sheets beneath me were stiff and cold. My head throbbed. Every pulse felt like a hammer striking bone. The world around me swayed, flickering between light and shadow. For a second, I thought I heard Austin’s voice, softly calling my name.  But when I opened my eyes, no one was there. Just the buzz of the fluorescent light and the distant hum of machines. It has been happening more often. The voices, the shifting air, flashes of faces that disappeared when I blinked. Maybe it was the dru

Austin's POV The door creaked open with a slow, echoing groan. A cold draft rolled out, carrying the faint metallic tang of blood and disinfectant.Lisa stepped through, glancing back at me with that same hollow smile. “Come in, Austin,” she said softly.Every instinct screamed at me not to. But I had to find Ruby. The moment I did, something felt wrong. There were restraints on the walls, steel tables, and syringes scattered across trays. My pulse quickened. I started to shift, calling on Finn. My bones began to burn, muscles tightening—Then a sharp sting hit my neck. Before I could react, Lisa’s hand withdrew. The glint of a syringe flashed under the light.I staggered back, grabbing my neck. “What—what did you—”She tilted her head, eyes wide with false innocence. “Just something to keep you calm.”My vision blurred. Finn roared inside my head, trying to push through, but the connection slipped, like static breaking apart. I tried again, but nothing happened. I couldn’t shift.I

Ruby's POV The soft hum of music drifted around me as I opened my eyes.I was standing in the middle of the ballroom, with chandelier light, laughter, swirling gowns and glittering glasses. Everything looked exactly like the night of the banquet.I glanced down. My skin was smooth beneath the fabric of my dress, every wound gone, every scar erased. There wasn’t even a trace of pain.A chill ran through me. “Am I… dead?” I whispered. Before the question could take root, a voice echoed softly in my head, calm and distant, as if carried by the wind.“You’re safe. This isn’t death, just a place between. Austin’s already found you. The wolf clan doctor is treating your injuries.”The sound faded, leaving me standing in silence.I turned in a slow circle, trying to remember what had happened that night. The flashes came in fragments. The music cutting out, the drink in my hand, John’s face across the room, and then… pain. Fear. Darkness. The entire scene froze, like someone had pressed pau

Ruby's POV The moment I opened the door, relief washed over me. It wasn’t John. It was Austin’s Beta, standing there with his usual composed look, a small bag in his hand. “Alpha asked me to bring this,” he said, holding it out. “A healing ointment. It should help with the deeper wounds. He’s away at the tournament now.” I took the bag carefully. “Thank you.” He gave a brief nod. “He said to tell you not to worry. He’ll be back soon.” When he left, silence settled over the apartment again. I stared at the ointment f

Ruby's POV  Sally looked pale when I saw her. Even though she was smiling faintly, I could tell how weak she’d become since the attack. The nurse helped Sally into a wheelchair and rolled her down the quiet, rune-lined corridor of the hidden spirit hospital. The air was hushed, as if even time moved slower here. This wasn’t a normal hospital, it treated spirits caught between life and death. To ordinary people, the building didn’t exist at all. Only those who could see ghosts or had special permission could find its doors. I walked beside her. At the exit, she looked up. “You didn’t have to come all this way,” she said softly.
