Lahat ng Kabanata ng Tenderness is a Dangerous Thing: Kabanata 141 - Kabanata 150

“Of course I want some,” Zack says with a quiet laugh, setting the brownie container aside on the nightstand. “But I am enjoying watching you eat too much right now. It is cute how you get all focused on your food.” He leans back against the black palm headboard, propping himself up with the white motel pillows while his arm rests casually around Anna’s shoulders. The rose red bedspread shifts under their movements, creating a cozy nest in the otherwise genetic motel room. “You know this is way better than eating alone. I have been eating takeout by myself for years. Feels good to have someone to share it with,” he admits, running his fingers through her brown hair gently. “Maybe sometime in the future I can cook for you,” she suggests leaning over his chest to pick up a piece of brownie. “My mom taught me how to make cottage pie.” She takes another bite and offers him the rest of the brownie.Zack’s green eyes softening as he leans forward to accept the last piece of brownie from her

Zack’s competitive nature softens completely at Anna’s warm smile and sincere words, his expression becoming unguarded in the steamy bathroom. The bathroom’s warm lighting casts gently shadows across his face as he pulls her closer against his chest, the water swirling around their intertwined bodies. “I am fucking ecstatic we are,” he says quietly, his voice carrying genuine emotion. “For years I thought I had ruined any chance of this happening. That I had pushed you away too many time with my bullshit.” His hands move through the bubbles to cup her face gently, thumbs brushing away any lingering steam from her cheeks. “But you never gave up on me,” he continues softly his green eyes searching hers.“I held out hope,” Anna admitted softly. “But it was you who finally got the ball rolling. And you were not gently about it either.” Her voice grew more playful. “Being all pushy and unclear. You should be glad I stuck around to hear your true feelings,” he said and leaned the back of her

“Oh yeah?” Zack growls lowly, his hands sliding down from Anna’s shoulders to grip her waist firmly. “You had better fucking mean that. Because if you make me sit through some spa treatment with cucumber slices on my eyes, I am expecting payback.” His thumbs dug into her hips possessively while his green eyes lock onto hers with intense focus, searching for any sign of hesitation in her promise. “Tell me exactly what you have in mind,” he commands roughly, his voice carrying that dominant edge she finds too irresistible. “I could oil you up.” She says playfully. “Give you a more intimate massage…” her voice carries a seductively suggestive tone. His green eyes darken with obvious desire at her seductive suggestion. The steamy bathroom feels like it is closing in around them as Zack pulls Anna flush against his chest, one hand sliding up to grip the back of her neck possessively. “Fuck yes,” he growls roughly, his other hand moving to cup her ass firmly beneath the water. “An intimate m

Zack’s hands slide down her arms, his thumbs tracing slow, deliberate circles over her elbows before moving to her collarbone. The soapy water drips from his fingers, catching the dim light of the bathroom. He works with a focused intensity, his touch firm enough to leave a trail of warmth wherever he presses. “You are so quiet,” he notes, his voice a low rumble against her skin as he moves to her shoulders. “Usually, you have got something witty to say back to me.” He does not wait for an answer, instead letting his hands roam lower, his palms smoothing over the curves of her torso beneath the water. “That’s it,” he murmurs, his eyes meeting hers over her shoulder. “Just relax for me. I have got you.”“I am just enjoying the services,” Anna says with a playful smile. Zack’s smirk widened with pride at her response, as he moves his hands down her sides, his fingers pressing lighting into her waist. “Enjoying the services, huh? Glad to know my customer is satisfied,” he says with a low

“Fine. Action movie it is. At least it is not some slow-burn romance where nothing happens for two hours,” Zack grumbles, though he is already leaning his head back to get comfortable. “But if it is terrible, I get to pick the next one.” He pops a chutney chip into his mouth; his green eyes fixed on the screen as the opening credits begin to roll.“Have you ever seen it?” Anna asks casually as she takes another chip. Zack chews slowly, thinking for a second before shaking his head. “Nah, I have seen the first one like once when I was a kid, but the rest? No clue.” He shifts closer to her, his arm settling naturally around her shoulders as he pulls her into his side. The room is quiet except for the sound of the movie and the crunch of chips. “Why, you going to spoil the plot for me?” he asks with a grin, nudging her shoulder with his. He reached for a bar-one chocolate bar from the pile on the nightstand, unwrapping it with one hand while keeping the other draped over her. “What? It is
