(Evening time..) Andres returned to the clinic before I did. When I arrived, he was standing near the entrance with two of his men, speaking heatedly into his phone. His expression was thunderous, jaw tight, eyes narrowed in fury. A flicker of unease stirred in my chest. *Had the results come back already?* The moment he saw me, he ended the call abruptly and strode toward me. “You came right on time,” he said. He took my hand, his grip firm and warm, and led me inside the clinic. “Is… is the result out?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. “Not yet.” I let out a heavy sigh. “You looked really upset earlier.
