Lahat ng Kabanata ng Love and Three Chances: Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 20

She ignored the noise she heard and looked at the sky. A full moon was shining beautifully on the dark cloudless night, surrounded by a sea of thousand tiny stars that glittered brightly in a fascinating way.Elisia had never admired the night as she found it tedious and dull. She grew up in a place where the sun and the moon couldn't reach, so the absence of light didn't excite her anymore. But now, she loved the darkness and silence surrounding her. She could only hear the whistles of the wind that made the trees dance. The cold breeze that brushed through her skin made her shiver, but she didn't care. She liked the feeling of being human, and she wanted to stay that way for Adrian. She sighed when she thought about her husband. How could he forget her like that? She thought he loved her and that even death could not break the bond between them. But she was wrong. The words Thane said during their argument were the things she already knew but couldn't admit to herself. She could not

An intense pain struck his chest from deep within. Evelyn's one hand reached his heart as she slowly tightened her grip. He clasped his chest in agony while staring at the dying witch. He thought it would be over soon, and the pain would never last that long. When he realized she had just started her curse, he tried to block out the pain to cope with the unbearable feeling. He squeezed his eyes shut tight as his face turned to a scowl. Thane felt a chain slowly coil his heart. "The curse of Desideres will chain your heart. Take the life of a thousand souls; then you will be free." After saying those words, Evelyn died and turned into ashes. At first, Thane didn't believe that the curse was real because he was the only one who heard and felt Evelyn's wrath that day. He thought it was just mere words from a dying woman. Alex and the others didn't see what Evelyn did to him, and there was no evidence to prove that she cursed him. After Evelyn vanished in thin air, he ordered his m

"So Evelyn didn't tell you about the curse?" The old man said."She died right after passing it on me." He answered. The man continued to eat, so he waited for him to finish. He was starting to get impatient, but he had to show respect to the man who helped him. Thane saw him take out a knife and a mango when he was done with the fish. He started peeling as he began the story of Desideres."Desideres was a white witch who lived in a secluded mountain. Legend says she was the most beautiful creature in Terra, even more beautiful than Aoife. She became the envy of many women because even the Gods would come from Caelum to see her. Her parents were scared that Desideres' beauty would anger Aoife, so they took her to the mountain to hide her. They thought she was safe, but one day a man found her. He fell in love, and so was she." The man paused."Little did she know that the man was one of Aoife's lovers. He ran away from her and accidentally found Desideres. Although Aoife had a lot of

Thane brought Elisia to a cliff where she could see the whole city. It was already past midnight, but balls of glimmering lights twinkled in the vast space as the starry sky swept over the city. Dark clouds surrounded the full moon, so it was in its own realm of eternal darkness. Elisia was fascinated once more with the beauty of Thane's country. It was more beautiful and quiet than Aramoor City. She turned to Thane only to be shocked when he suddenly returned to his Terran form. Her eyes widened, seeing him without any clothes on."Put on some clothes!" She yelled.Thane didn't answer. He still had a dark expression, making Elisia more anxious. She turned around, embarrassed by what she saw. Her heart was pounding, and her cheeks felt so hot."What do you think you're doing in the witches' lair? They could have killed you!""I'm here in front of you, so don't worry." She whispered. She heard Thane sigh and wanted to see his face, but she couldn't since he was naked."This city is ca

Thane was left dumbfounded after Elisia kissed him and then ran outside, blushing.'That again.' He thought to himself.'You know it wasn't her. Don't be confused.' It was his wolf.'This is the third time I felt it. Why can't you feel it?' He said to his wolf.'She's a demon. Remember, demons were the reason your parents are dead. They cannot be trusted. Play with her all you want, but she is not that girl.'It was strange that every time they were close to each other, he could see a glimpse of her past. The same thing happened years ago.The memory of the girl she met in Mirrikh when he was still a slave was clear as the blue sky until now. She was his mate, but he couldn't tell her because of his status. He was afraid she would reject him so he let her go.'Our mate was a mortal. We both felt it the first time we met her, and she died because of you. Remember that.''Shut up! I already paid for what I did!'He was uncomfortable talking about what happened to his mate four years ago
