Lahat ng Kabanata ng Intertwined Destinies: A Nanny on the Farm: Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

It was three thirty in the morning and we had just watched the security footage. The bastard kidnapper was dressed entirely in black, with a cap and a mask, impossible to see his face, but I knew very well who it was.I had already called the police, who were now investigating the road cameras, and I also called five more private security cars, with fully armed and trusted men.Soon, a suspicious car was seen on the cameras, and when we checked the plate, we discovered it belonged to an employee of the hospital where Aurora had been admitted.I was anguished. Selma was already taking care of Noah and I got into my car, trying to imagine where that idiot of a stepfather had taken her.I was certain it was him, I had already told the police about my suspicion.Soon they called Aurora's mother, who justified herself by saying that her husband was traveling for work.I didn't know if that woman was covering for that bastard husband of hers.So much so that, after the police called her, I

“Sir, there's a man lying on the ground, near that door.”“Any sign of Aurora?” I asked impatiently.“No!”“We're just waiting for your order to act; we'll immobilize that one and enter carefully, searching the rooms for the victim and the other kidnapper.”“Then let's go, start immediately; I'm going in with you.”The men began to move closer to the building; Oliver already had his gun in hand as well. They entered and immobilized the first man, who was the owner of the car and an employee of the hospital. With just a signal, the head of security ordered everyone to split up and search for Aurora.Oliver followed one of them; they walked through several rooms. That place would have been a hotel if the construction hadn't been abandoned, so there was no shortage of rooms to search.“That door over there.”Oliver said, pointing to a door at the back, he felt she was there. The two of them, carefully, opened the door, and there they saw a grotesque scene.“I'll show you what a real man

Three days had passed since that horrible incident, my eyes were still swollen, but I could open them a little, my body still hurt, and there were bruises everywhere. I still feel sick when I remember Sandro, his assaults and his lack of shame, I shiver and almost panic. But when I remember Oliver arriving and pulling that monster off of me, at the moment he was about to violate me, I feel relieved. The psychologist who has been seeing me asked me to focus only on the positive things, and that's what I'm trying to do.Denise came to the city and is taking care of Noah, she has been my companion at all times, making me laugh and forget the bad things. The nurse taking care of me is named Sara, she's already forty-five and very helpful too, she has been wonderful, and when the three of us are together in the room, all you hear is laughter.Oliver has been so kind to me, I don't have words to express my gratitude, for moving all those people to find me as quickly as possible, my eyes fil

Lazy Noah had already fallen asleep again, Denise was sitting on the bedroom balcony, and I went to sit with her.“What are you thinking about, Denise?” I asked because her eyes were fixed on the horizon.“Nothing, you know?” She stood up and looked at the sea. “Do you believe in destiny, Aurora?”Her question caught me off guard; I didn't know what to answer.“I don't know!” I sat down. “I believe in God and that He has purposes for our lives, so I think some people call that destiny, right?”“I believe in it, you know?” She sat beside me. “I think there are people whose paths are tied together, who show up in the right place at the right time.”“Why are you saying that?”“Just look at you; you ran away from home, took the road on foot, and suddenly appeared at the farm, right at the moment the boss needed someone to take care of Noah.”“If I tell you something, your conspiracy theory is going to grow.”“What? I can't believe you're hiding something from me, Miss Aurora!” she teased

“Aurora!”Saulo's voice, calling me outside the courthouse, pulled me back to reality.“Hi…”“What a result we got, huh? This victory should be celebrated!”“Oliver told me we would go out to eat after the trial.”“Oh, did he?” He made a doubtful face. “Strange, he must have forgotten, because he already left and asked me to take you home.”“Oh…” I felt a little uneasy, because we had an unfinished conversation. “Then let's go home; we'll find him there.”“Well, I think you didn't understand; he went back to the farm.”“But what happened?”“Well, he doesn't stay away from the farm for long, I think you know that, and after your case was resolved, he said he would go back, since he has a lot of work piled up.”“That's true. Oliver set aside a lot of things to help me; I will always be grateful to him.”“It seems like you're a little sad.”“Just your impression, sir.”“Well, since Oliver isn't here, let's do this the two of us will celebrate. Let's eat something before going home, alrig
