Chase “I'll see what I can find and get back to you,” Ryker says, standing by the club's exit. His gaze drifts to me. “You didn't come with a car, right, Chase? Let me drop you home.” I don't argue because, like Ryker said, I know what he wants: me. Without saying another word, I move toward Ryker's car, slipping into the passenger seat. Once he gets behind the wheel, I stare out the window, trying to avoid any conversation with Ryker, but I can't contain my anger. “You were out of line today, you know that, right?” I snap at him. He doesn't say a word, but the corner of his lips curves into a smirk, and that ticks me off even more. “Are you seriously smiling right now?” Ryker nods. “Yes, I am. I could feel that you were avoiding me, which is why I followed you here.
