MALIA AND JULIANJAYDENSal didn't tell me it was Richard's car. Even as I drove, a part of me wanted it to be him so bad. I hadn't had the chance to visit his place and talk with him, so I would love a chat after fixing his car today.But... what were the odds? The stench of transmission fluid and burnt copper hits me the second I roll up to Sal's Auto Repair. He's already pacing under the halogen lights he always insists to be left on. A greasy rag is clenched in his fists. When I pull up, he rushes my SUV before I've even fully killed the engine. "Thank God," Sal exhales, opening my driver's door for me. "You remember Richard?"Oh, it's him. "He's back in Bay 2 pacing and doubtful if you can fix this one.""What's it doing?" I ask, stepping out and instantly rolling up the sleeves of the shirt I threw on back in the dorm. My mind is already ticking... I need to get this done, hit the 24-hour grocery store for steak and potatoes, pick up Aurora's clothes from her dorm, and get

DON'T YOU WANT TO KISS ME?AURORA One. Two. Three. Four. Five. I'm indeed counting. I can't wait to tell this man that there's nothing to be ashamed of. There's nothing to hide about what he does; it's admirable, to be honest. I love men who can hold their own, who aren't just mommy or daddy's spoilt brats, living off inherited wealth without a shred of self-sufficiency. But on the other hand, a tiny, illogical part of me is still kind of waiting for him to deny it, even though all the logical reasoning, is pointing directly to it."Yes." He nods, his head sunken, his shoulders slightly slumped. His voice is low. "I do have that as a part-time job. I also do a lot of menial jobs, whatever I can find, just to earn the money Celina and I use to get by. And no... before you ask. None of my friends know about that side of me. They all think the same thing you do. That I'm rich." His gaze is fixed on the bed, unable to meet my eyes.I don't know what to say. I honestly don't know w

LIKE A MADMANAURORA Last night ended on the note of Jayden reminding me of my words. He said that I wanted to be just friends but I hadn't been acting like it. This dude told me to my face that if I wanted something more than friendship, I'd have to say it.So I went to sleep with a blank mind. Because what the hell else would I have thought about? I'm in a dilemma. Like actual dilemma with a large question mark that's glaring at the back of my head. And I can say I'm ashamed as well. If Jayden of all humans, could realize how he felt about someone... then tell me why I still had confusing feelings. Last night showed me that I still wanted to jump his bones and kiss him, make out with him and never stop. And then it also showed me that there's more to him than meet the eye. As it stands, I'm confused and not ready to face my feelings. Maybe if somebody was brave enough to force me into confronting them... and finally putting a name to whatever my heart was doing, I'd know.Ri

REHAB MOTHER JAYDEN"Here I am." I say, dropping my keys into my pocket and stepping into the room, while I'm trying so hard to keep my posture straight and Duke is standing behind me with the heavy grocery bars.I glance at Aurora and her eyes are darting from the giant bouquet of pink lilies and white roses tucked into the crook of my arm to my face. Her lips twitch and I catch a smirk at the corner of her mouth. What the hell does she find funny?Sitting on the edge of her bed right beside her is a woman I find gorgeous who also shares the exact hazel eyes... Aurora's mom.The moment her mother turns her head, her gaze sweeps over me, taking in the flowers, and the sheer size of me standing there."You must be Jayden." Her mom says. "Yes, ma'am," I say, stepping forward and extending the flowers toward her with a polite nod. "Mrs....?""Call me Elena," she says, smiling as she takes the bouquet, bringing it to her nose to take a gentle breath. "Oh, Jayden, these are absolute

WHAT DO YOU FEEL AURORA My eyes are wide as fuck as Jayden stays so still. He can't believe this either. For me, it's quite funny that after saying no to a kiss I asked for yesterday, he's accidentally kissed me now. He pulls away, shutting his eyes for a brief second while I stare at him, taking in his shocked reaction. "That was... fuck." He shuts his eyes, shaking his head. "An accident. I shouldn't have. We shouldn't have." "Yes... why are you acting like it's a bad thing." He looks at me. "It's not... I mean... It is." He says. "Oh." "Not a bad thing. But, I should have asked first. You know... consent?" He tilts his head. His eyes are still wide and I find that cute. This... thing. His frazzled reaction is really funny at this point. "Okay. I know you didn't do it on purpose." I say, offering a smile. He scratches the back of his neck. "Good. You should know that. I slipped and we kissed and..." "Jayden! Calm down. We kissed and it was good." "What
