Semua Bab A Not So Cute Meet With Captain Arrogant : Bab 21 - Bab 30

Megan’s PovClass ended earlier than usual, that was a good thing, because if we had spent more minutes in there, my stomach would have been growling so loudly that I wouldn’t even have the time to breathe.“Hey, do you want to head over to the arena now?” Stacey asked.I quickly shook my head, “I think I should get coffee first.” The reply wasn’t me avoiding Vinn. “I will meet up with you later,” I added. With a wave, she joined the rest of the team and walked away. The sound of my phone buzzing caused a smile to graze my lips, I could already tell who it was, without even looking at the screen. Ever since James and I exchanged numbers, we have been texting nonstop, and without seeking a soothsayer, it is easy to tell that I look forward to reading his messages every day. It is a miracle how I can keep my head high while walking through the crowd as I chatted with James. The shop doorbell rang over my head, signalling to them of my arrival. “What are you doing?” I asked, biting my

Megan’s Pov“I should be done in a few minutes,” I whispered into the call, using the last wipes to clean the medial table that I had been using. Everyone was gone from the training centre, but here I was, trying to fix the last file that was needed.“I don’t understand why you are there; you do know they have people to clean those things right?” Marley hissed over the call.I wiped the sweat that rolled down my forehead, “I know, but I am here and I needed to finish the last assessment sheet before heading out,” I muttered. She hummed, “Okay, do you want dinner? I can order something and maybe we can split the bill later,” she said. My chest tightened at the sound of splitting bills. I wasn’t planning freeloading off her. But I was already stretched so thin with my finances, if I didn’t find something to do, I was going to be… “Megan?” Her voice broke me out of my thought, snapping me back into reality. “Are you there?”“Yes, sorry, got distracted for a minute. Don’t worry about di

Vinn’s PovMegan is the one meeting with my grandmother, she should be the one nervous, wasn’t that the rule? But in this case, I am seated here, sweating bullocks as I take the turn that would lead to my grandmother’s estate. But heading over to my grandmother’s house wasn’t the only thing that was on my mind, it was the fact that Megan sat beside me in a dark blue gown, with slits that made my fingers itch; wanting to feel what it would be like to touch her porcelain-soft skin.I took notice of the tint on her cheeks; it was obvious that she had caught me the number of times that I was staring at her. I couldn’t tear my gaze off her, not when she looked like that. A walking freaking model.“Ready?” I asked as I pulled towards the estate gate. Her brows furrowed when she noticed me punch in the code. “She owns the estate, a gift from my grandfather,” I answered the unasked question. She hummed, her eyes brightening as I drove in. I knew she was going to be mesmerized, if there was o

Megan’s Pov Don’t drink on a school night! Maybe I should have given myself this warning before agreeing to drink a freaking bottle with Vinn last night. I winced, my hand instantly rubbing the spot Marley had flicked, “What did you do that for?” I hissed, my glare meeting Marley who stared at me with a smile on her face. “I have been talking for hours and you haven’t been listening,” she scoffed. “And flicking an already pounding head is your best option?” I retorted. She shrugged, looking pleased at the inconvenience, “I didn’t tell you to go drinking with your fake boy….” My hand reached out, clamping around her mouth, keeping her quiet. “Can you be any louder? I am sure half the school didn’t hear you,” I hissed. She rolled her eyes, detangling herself from my grip, “No one heard; besides, it is the truth, isn’t it?” I huffed, I didn’t know what her problem

Megan’s PovI did the best thing I thought was right. I hid. Avoided everything that would make me cross paths with Vinn. Took mental days from going to the arena, went to classes late, and left really early just to be sure that he wasn’t waiting in the corridors for me.It worked. But it also meant that I was losing out on a lot of things. I couldn’t see James; I couldn’t think about watching him play without being reminded of that moment. I could lie and say it was alcohol that caused it, but then there was the fact that I wasn’t that tipsy, I had been an active participant in kissing him.“We have to talk.” I groaned, shutting my phone as I pressed my head hard against the pillow. This was his fourth message today and with how many he sent yesterday, I knew that he was going to send more.“Megan?” the next one came.“Don’t make me come find you, I know your dorm, I know your schedule.”I shoved the phone under the pillow, rubbing my hands over my face, “stalker,” I hissed under
