Aria’s POV For a few minutes after waking up, I genuinely had no idea where I was, and honestly, I didn’t even care. My eyes were still closed, my head was resting against Nathan’s chest, and his arm was wrapped around my waist, keeping me close to him while the boat moved gently beneath us. Everything was quiet, except for the soft sound of the water hitting the side of the boat, and for once my brain wasn’t screaming about Alexa, my father, that stupid unknown number, or every other problem that had decided to follow me around lately. I just felt… calm. Which was kinda suspicious because whenever I felt calm, something usually happened five minutes later and ruined it. I opened one eye and looked at Nathan. He was already awake.
