Sienna’s POV I woke up with a heavy weight in my chest and zero intention of letting Nova see it. The morning light felt too bright, too normal for the mess I was in. I dressed in my most professional clothes — crisp button-up and slacks — and walked into the kitchen like I was reporting for duty. Nova was already there, shirtless as usual, sliding a plate of eggs and toast across the island the second I entered. “Made your favorite,” he said, voice careful. “Extra butter on the toast.
