The next morning, Tanner had arrived at Crescent moon pack. He knocked on the door of the pack house anxiously. He could have simply messaged Rovak to come let him in, but this was a official visit and he had to go through the right processes. The door was opened by a woman, he recognized her, it was River's mate. "Hey, I am Tanner Vergara. I am here to report to Alpha Perez" he introduced himself. She looked at him and gave a small smile, "please come in, I am Melanie. Alpha Perez is expecting you" she told him. "Uhm... What about Rovak?" he asked. "Oh... He went on a run" she replied. Tanner wandered around the pack house while waiting for Rovak. He wondered how Rovak had grown up here and what his childhood had been like. As he walked down the hallway, he noticed a door that was slightly open. He pushed it open and looked inside. The room looked like a storage room. Tanner looked around and noticed a dusty photo album sitting on a table. He picked it up and opened it. The first pictures were of Rovak and River when they were babies.
