Lahat ng Kabanata ng The Fated Mate Rebellion: Kabanata 171 - Kabanata 180

POV: JaxonJaxon understood what was happening before Kenzie finished speaking. The Guardian bond's release was not subtle. The Heart responded to voluntary relinquishment by reclaiming what it had given, the pool's light shifting exactly as the archive documentation had described. Jaxon had read those records, filed them away, and was now watching their contents unfold between himself and his four-year-old niece. The power left Kenzie gradually, like warmth fading after its source was removed. The change was not dramatic. The settled violet of her completed Guardian bond began to shift, her eyes taking on a transitional shade between what they had been and what they were becoming. She was becoming mortal. The Guardian bond was seeking its next host.Jaxon knew because the archive had been explicit. The founding compact documented what happened when a Guardian voluntarily released the bond, including the provision for its continuation. The Heart could not remain without a Guardian for

POV: SierraThe drain affected everyone in the Heart Chamber differently.Sierra knew because her Ancestor-Blessed connection to the Heart gave her an awareness of the people around her that extended beyond Bond-Touched senses. The ancestral marks read the chamber’s overall state as the Heart read its own domain, continuously and without filtering. She could feel the True Council’s substantial reserves being accessed from outside, centuries of accumulated power slowly pulled through the working. She could feel Ryder’s Alpha biology resisting the drain, his considerable physical and supernatural strength being reduced despite that resistance. What she felt most clearly was her own.The Ancestor-Blessed state connected her to the Heart’s pool through a channel distinct from the Guardian bond and the Fae co-steward provision. It was the First Royal’s gift, a direct link between the bloodline’s foundation and the woman chosen to carry access to its accumulated ancestral knowledge. That ch

POV: Mason The pods opened, and Mason waited for his family. He had been waiting for this moment for fifteen years. He had built and organized his entire life around a single anticipated arrival, investing everything he had into it with attention that left no room for anything else. The first thing that emerged was light. Not the heart's violet. This light was colder, the pale luminescence of bodies that had been preserved for a very long time and now exposed to the first energy it had received in fifteen years. It was the response to energy received since the ritual began. The forms were small. He had known they would be small. Seven months of gestation meant they had not fully reached development. He had thought about that detail countless times over the past fifteen years, just as people thought about things they were planning to change. The ritual would restore what the stasis had preserved. The development that the stasis had interrupted would resume. They would grow.He watche

POV: JaxonThe ancestral voices were not in agreement. This was new information about the Guardian bond's ancestral connection. Three hundred years of royal bloodline wisdom did not resolve into a single perspective. Each voice retained the character of the person who had contributed to it.They argued. Not loudly. Their disagreement filled Jaxon's consciousness like a room crowded with conversations, each voice carrying its own conviction. These were people who had faced comparable situations in their own lifetimes, reached different conclusions, and carried those conclusions into the ancestral presence with the same certainty they had held in life. The voices that counseled justice were clear. Mason Daniels had orchestrated the death of the Royal family. He had spent fifteen years preparing to sacrifice a four-year-old. He had corrupted his wife's spirit and his children's biological remains in service of his obsession, then called it love. The accounting was not complicated. The vo

POV: RyderRyder held Sierra and ran the numbers. He did not like the answer. He had been running numbers in difficult situations for fourteen years. Survival came down to arithmetic: what they had, what they needed, and the gap between the two. He had become good at it because experience had taught him that getting the calculation wrong could mean the difference between living and dying. The numbers for this situation produced an answer he refused to accept. Sierra was breathing, but shallowly. Her pulse beneath his fingers was weak, her Bond-Touched biology operating at the minimum her body could sustain rather than the capacity it had maintained before the ritual drained her.The Ancestor-Blessed marks on her hand were dim. He had never seen them this faint. The connection remained. So did the bond. It had thinned with her unconsciousness, compressed to a faint signal rather than the full transmission, but it still carried the one thing that mattered most. Her life force was there.
