Juliet“I want you to fuck me”. Noah bit his lip, a cocky smile on his face as he drew away from me. He held my gaze for a moment, and I knew I would pay any amount to know what was going through his mind. Did he think I was pathetic? Had I sold myself cheap? When he got off the couch, leaving me lying, a sense of awareness took hold of me. My cheeks and neck felt warm, as I pulled down the shirt I wore. I tried to fix my bra, but then he said, “Come on”, with his hand stretched towards me. Noah seemed rather calm and unaffected compared to earlier. If it wasn't for the unmissable tent at the crotch of his sweatpants, I would have thought everything was one sided. He tilted his head at me in question. I placed my hand on his. He grabbed it, easily helping me off the couch. “What's wrong?” He asked, his eyes searching my face. “Nothing”, I said quietly, shaking my head. Without a word, I let Noah lead me to the bedroom. I would have loved to help, but I’m more into corporate law”, Grace said, taking the last sip of her iced coffee. It made sense. I couldn't imagine Grace getting into family drama. “I guess”, I muttered. I sighed, letting my eyes drift over the nearly empty cafe. I couldn't bring myself to tell Grace that I was having doubts about my decision. And then my phone starts to ring on the table. I frown slightly at it, watching Mum’s number light up on my screen. “Is that… Mrs. Hall?” Grace asked, a look of concern on her face. I nodded, ending it. “She has been trying to get through to me”.
