I’m pretty sure the Earth stills at the sound of the most beautiful sound I’d ever heard. The sound washes over me, sending tingles down my spine, along my nerves, lighting all the way down to my toes.We’re chest to back, so the laugh rattles up my insides in ways I’d never felt.As if hearing himself, Remy snaps his mouth shut, trapping the sound back in, from wherever it came from. From the stiffness of his muscles, it’s obvious he hadn’t meant to laugh.He clears his throat nosily, his neck stains a shade of pink. Remy is embarrassed. I can’t believe I’m experiencing new sides of him back to back.
