Lahat ng Kabanata ng Divorce? Just Not Yet Darling!: Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 20

Bella's POV "Oh, that." He said, his face resolving to normal when the memory clicked. Reluctantly, he dragged his feet to the restroom with an expression that showed his mind still lingered on it. A wave of anger swept his face again. "You know you were so unromantic back there. Your husband calls you babe and you can't even blush. You just stood there so rigid like a rock that the attendant almost doubted we were a couple".I gasped in sarcasm, "Oh really! Was I that rigid?" I asked feigning sadness that I had disappointed him. "So sorry, babe; maybe next time I will blush and squeak like a rat to make your acting rich."He snorted and paused at the restroom entrance. "Acting?", he asked, turning to face me."Mmh hmm" I nodded my head with wide eyes. He shrugged his shoulders and sighed heavily. "I...." He made to speak but stared at me instead, searching for the right words. I raised my brows, yes go on. "Fine!" The words gushed out forcefully from his mouth, from so much restra

Linda's POV I bit had on my nails as I stared at the annoying, almost cruel message on the screen which stared daggers right back at me. I angrily kicked my legs, rumbling the bed covers in the process. My expectations were crushed, and my plans were ruined by this single message.𝘼𝙡𝙚𝙭𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘣𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘦, 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘪𝘵. I ran a hand through my hair halfheartedly at first, but as my frustration mounted, ruffled it, vigorously passing all aggression to them as if the damn strands were my problem. My fingers floated over the screen as I stared at the message unsure what to reply."What does he mean by blanket?" I spat, my voice echoing menacingly in the dark. "As if he doesn't know what I mean" I hissed and flung the phone to my side in anger as it bounced a few times before coming to rest. He should have just ignored my message then. "I wonder what kept him awake till this time," I thought, my eyes lingerin

Bella's POV "Oh, mother!" Alex exclaimed, his face switching to a childish grin that made him beam with boyish cuteness. Mrs. Caroline reciprocated a warm smile, not once batting an eyelid at me. Sophia on the other hand, had no greeting to spare her brother, as all her attention was lavished on me.She has always had a knack for distinct facial expressions. She just wasn't one to hide her feelings, she gave it raw and unreserved. I could read this look on her face; it was scribbled with clarity as she assessed me, taking everything in detail. From my face down to the jewelry that graced my neck, she was stunned, then impressed, until it morphed to disdain when she got to my hips. She scorned, lifting the corner of her upper lip for effect, "Did you also waste my brother's money in buying your miserable self a double-layered tight just to pad your hips.... or is this real?" She asked, not bothering to veil the jealousy in her voice.Unlike her lean self, I had a little more flesh, an

Bella's POV Some of the guests who had seen me arrive earlier stared at me, puzzled. What they saw earlier was a different version of what they were seeing now. I arrived with confidence, stance, and beauty, but right now, I looked like I had rags on, and their whispers hovered around me as I passed by them. I slammed the car shut and inhaled sharply, holding my breath much longer than I intended before exhaling. I hammered my head on the steering, breathing heavily, the scene unwrapping all over again before my eyes with clarity. Their hurtful words, the constant rejection...... I had held it all in and suppressed my emotions when Mother called me beastly. But right now, alone with my thoughts, my heart is crushed like under the merciless trap of a pestle.Sophia's words re-echoed in my head. No matter how I try to push it out it keeps coming with intensity. Maybe she is correct. Maybe I was just being cheap. Maybe I shouldn't have stepped in when I did, thinking I was doing a good

Alex's POV I pulled into the parking lot of the club— located somewhere in a somewhat secluded part of the city, and shut off the engine before making my way to the entrance.Inside, I was welcomed by the wild screams coming from every corner of the club as everyone was bubbling with life. The air was thick with smoke, the dim lights accentuating the array of hideous activities the place kept shielded. I nearly choked from the scent of sweat, as I fought my way through the sea of bodies hopping haphazardly, dancing and colliding against each other. Since when did Bella become comfortable in a place like this?I managed to rear my head above the crowd, a vain attempt to catch a glimpse of her. Nothing! It was all dim and smoky. Their eyes... I could feel them. They ogled me lustfully as I made my way to the counter — half naked women, stripers, with nothing but panties and lace bras that had their nipples sticking out like lollipops. All they needed was to get a chance and they had d
