We finally got to the third floor, the long, winding staircase a distant memory, and took a left down the long, wide hallway. She stopped in front of an oak door, its heavy wood imposing, and turned the handle, pushing the door in. I followed her in, and though the room was sizeable, stretching out before me, the layout was unimpressive, almost Spartan. My room in the dorms had a lot more to behold, more personality, more comfort. Besides a full-sized metal-framed bed and a dresser, there was nothing else in there, just bare walls.
