Lahat ng Kabanata ng My Ex Framed Me, So I Dated His Rival: Kabanata 41 - Kabanata 50

Ivy.Someone had been watching us.The realization hit me so hard that I couldn't breathe.People were taking pictures of us and somehow, they had gotten close enough to see everything. The internet was already flooded with close-range pictures of us inside the hotel room, and the shock of seeing them made my stomach twist.“Tyler!” I blurted out, staring at him in disbelief.Who the hell would do something like this? And how had they even managed to get those pictures? Before I could process it, my screen lit up again.More images. This time they were even closer, taken from the building across the river with a much better lens.Tyler was on one side of the bed, me on the other, and the look on both our faces was impossible to explain away as anything casual. The caption this time was far worse.Tyler was already on his feet, and I could see the fear that flashed across his face.“I think whoever took those pictures is close. We need to leave now. I’m almost certain this is Van. I can

Ivy.“Tell me you don't want him.”Tyler's voice was so quiet that it scared me more than if he had shouted.I turned toward him, but he kept his eyes on the road.“I already told you what happened. Why would you even ask me that?”“That isn't what I asked.”My heart skipped a beat, and I realized that this was more serious than I thought.“Tyler...”“Tell me you don't want Noah.”“I don't.”He finally looked at me, and his eyes kept burning with something I couldn't name.“Then why does my wolf still smell him on you?”I swallowed hard because that was the problem.Tyler wasn't angry because Noah had spoken to me.He was angry because some part of him was terrified that Noah could still reach me.Tyler didn't say another word to me, and I didn't know what was wrong.I thought we had already settled this.“You are shaking,” he pointed out, tilting his head toward me a little.“I’m fine. You don't have to worry about me.”“You are not fine. I know this attitude is about Noah. Isn't it?

Ivy.My phone wouldn’t stop buzzing.I was still trying to tidy things up when the first clip came into my phone.“Have you seen this? Noah just did a whole interview. He’s actually apologizing. Like… really apologizing. Do you think he has changed?”Then I saw another clip from a random person who just knew me online. I didn't have friends even though my relationship with the Hockey Devil made me quite popular.“Open this. He is talking about the person he hurt. Everyone is saying that he has actually changed for good. Are you okay?”“Girl. This is everywhere. People who hated him are defending him now. Did you watch it yet? Be honest… Does it sound like he is talking about you? There are a lot of rumours going around the internet.”I dropped the phone on the counter like it burned my palms, and I couldn't believe what was happening.Noah went live in public to apologize to me? Or…? I couldn't wrap my head around it.Tyler walked in right as the next notification lit the screen.“Wha

Tyler. The first thing I heard when I arrived at Westbridge University was my name being screamed by girls as though I had just won a championship.“Tyler Hayes!”“Tyler! Look here!”“Are you leaving hockey?”“Is medicine a backup plan?”“Tyler, one question!”The cameras came before I even touched the ground, and flashes exploded against the black windows of the car.I never prepared for this event, though I had expected it when I got my admission mail straight into my inbox. All the schools that I had applied to gave me admission on a platter of gold.Reporters pushed against the barricades, and a lot of students gathered around the entrance, pretending they were not staring while their phones were already recording. For a second, I just sat there with my hand on the door handle.I was frozen and everything looked really funny.I had played in front of twenty thousand people. I had stood on ice with an entire arena chanting my name.I had taken hits that left bruises for weeks and n

Ivy.Today was meant to be the best day of my life.I was going on a date with Tyler after everything that has been happening between the two of us.I stood in front of the mirror in a black backless dress.Tyler got me the dress the moment he promised me a real night out.My hair was curled and perfectly pinned. While I was taking a good look at myself, my wolf jumped within me, and she was so excited. Finally, things were beginning to make sense between the two of us.“I can’t make it tonight,” Tyler said immediately as the door flung open, and the earring I was about to wear stayed suspended between my fingers.“What? You are pulling my leg, right?” I asked, turning to look at him.“Ivy. I’m sorry. I have an exam tomorrow.”The words landed straight into my chest, and I stared at my own reflection with my mouth wide open.A cold rush of embarrassment settled under my ribs, and I still didn't want to believe it.“You knew about the exam. Yet you…” I struggled to say, and I didn't kn
