Lahat ng Kabanata ng Reborn on the Freshman Bus to Nowhere: Kabanata 1 - Kabanata 8

All of a sudden, I shot up from my seat and yelled toward the driver, William Porter, "Mr. Porter, hit the brakes! You absolutely can't go down the road ahead!"That outburst instantly cut short the buzzing chatter and laughter in the bus. Everyone turned to stare at me in unison. The chaperone sent by Newhaven University, Lewis Turner, immediately stood up. He frowned and strode quickly over to me, then pressed a hand down on my shoulder."Evelyn Randall, what has gotten into you? Sit down right now! This bus is speeding along a winding mountain road. If you shout and startle the driver, it'll cause an accident. Who's going to take responsibility then?"I gripped the backrest of the seat in front of me, trembling as I pointed at the windshield. "Mr. Turner, this isn't the right road! This road isn't open to traffic yet!"In less than a minute, a dense fog will roll in ahead and block out the sky. Once this bus drives into it, it'll never come out ever again!"Mr. Turner's expres

A very faint electric crackle sounded, and just as the bus had driven deep into the tunnel, the cabin lights suddenly went out without any warning.Immediately afterward, the bright lights along the ceiling of the tunnel began to go dark, one after another. Starting from behind us, row after row of lights rapidly went out.Endless darkness surged forward at a terrifying speed, swallowing everything behind us and instantly engulfing the entire bus."Why did the power go out?""It's dark outside too!"The lively cheers inside the bus instantly turned into a chaotic clamor of shock and confusion.Just then, several muffled mechanical clicks rang out in quick succession. The pneumatic doors of the bus were automatically locked, and every window lock was forcibly cut off and jammed tight. We were completely sealed inside a speeding iron coffin.Mr. Turner pounded frantically on the seat in front of him. "Mr. Porter! Turn on the lights! And why are the doors locked?" From the drive

As he held the girl hostage, Mr. Turner glared at me wickedly and said, "You really are quite clever."At this point, my classmates had a total meltdown. They had originally thought this was nothing more than an unfortunate traffic incident. Who could have guessed that this trip—supposedly a joyful journey heading to freshmen orientation—was actually a kidnapping that had been planned long ago?"Mr. Turner… why are you doing this?" shouted a boy, his voice breaking.Mr. Turner burst out laughing, the sound echoing through the bus."The most valuable thing you have isn't the money in your bank accounts. You're a bunch of physically healthy university students who just turned 18…"The moment those words came out, a deathly silence fell over the bus. Seconds later, several girls even fainted from shock."Alright, William. Drop the act. Slow down and pull into the drop-off location," Mr. Turner shouted toward the driver's seat. The bus that had been speeding wildly immediately slo

The SWAT captain of the team walked straight up to me. As he glanced at the black remote control in my hand, a hint of approval flashed in his eyes."Hand it to me. You're safe now," he said kindly.I let out a relieved sigh and handed the remote to the captain. As he watched this, Hugo grew frantic. "I'm the hero who kept things under control!"The captain whipped around and cut off Hugo's endless blathering with a fierce bellow. "Shut up!"The boys who had taken the lead in smashing the windows walked over. Their eyes were bloodshot. One of the more hot-tempered boys kicked Hugo straight in the stomach.Hugo was sent falling to the ground, clutching his stomach. My other classmates surrounded Hugo as well, overwhelming him with their furious tirades. Even the usually quiet and meek girls couldn't resist stepping forward to land a few kicks on him.Hugo could only clutch his head as he thrashed around on the ground.I merely stood to the side and watched everything coldly.J
