Lahat ng Kabanata ng Luna's Lost Family: Kabanata 21 - Kabanata 30

Chapter 21I woke with warmth in my heart. I didn’t know how or why; I can’t recall my dreams that night, but I remember feeling loved and cherished. I felt an urge to walk out to the garden and watch the sun rise, filling the scene with serenity. Dressed within a few minutes and hurried out: I didn’t want to miss seeing the sun welcome the day. I went to the part of the garden with the beautiful flower bushes, the rose garden, all kinds of flowers, and even plants I did not recognize. I stood there for a moment looking at the sky; something caught my eye under a bush. The bush had white flowers; they were formed like balls- snowballs. I looked straight at a huge cat with leopard-like spots, but it was lighter in color. Whiteish. I must have been seeing things wrong; it was my imagination, but the scene was so vivid, I could almost feel the softness of the snowball flowers and the sleek, spotted fur of the feline.Out of nowhere was my friend, my rabbit friend. It was running with fri

Chapter 23I wanted to plan a surprise birthday party for Kristina. It would be perfect to do that while she is working at the diner. Knowing Emrick, I know he wants the chance to be here on her birthday. He never celebrated his own birthday much growing up, since this is a modern tradition. When it became common to celebrate birthdays, I heard he never wanted to because he was an adult and didn’t see the point. It is heartwarming to see how much he cares for Kristina and that she is taken care of. Watching from the sidelines, it is obvious they belong together. She might be young, but shifters more often have age gaps, some more than others. My mother was 14 years old when she met my warlook father. When they met, she was 16½. My mother was married to my father at the tender age of 14, on her birthday of all things. It didn’t last, but how can one place them? Witches and warlocks live to be a few hundred years. I imagine one gets tired of waking up to see the same old face every mor

Chapter 25Dinner was delicious as usual. I had gotten used to Mother Hen, Madelyn. She is a mother unlike my own. I had plenty of freedom to run off and disappear without being questioned about where I had been. Mads wants to know where I am and how I am doing and likes to keep an eye on me so I am doing well. It is a big contrast. Saga is like a big sister, keeping an eye out and protecting me as best she can. Liam the bear was born with the right shifter genes. He’s a big, soft bear I gladly hug. He's a soft, big marshmallow with me, but he's a mean-ass bear with others. I have no explanation for how I got this lucky with people I now have in my life. Emrick, the handsome man who is stuck in my mind like I am obsessed. It wasn’t until recently that I got to know his name; oddly enough. I'm lucky to have him. I don’t know what he does for a living, but I only visits me at night. It makes me think that he is a CEO or a businessman or something that’s always busy.I took a walk down

Chapter 27I lay on my side in bed, feeling as if I had had the most intense workout at the gym. I was hurting all over. I really needed a hot shower to relax my body and feel a little better. I sat on the bedside, and a sting hit me like lightning between my legs. Thinking of the word Emrick said, “pussy” made me blush. It sounds so dirty. Yes, it was there; I felt a dull ache.I sat there for the longest time thinking about the night, wondering if it really happened. What about this morning? Did I really push my ass against Emrick as a needy whore? I felt his rock-like and chunky dick between my cheeks, and I wanted him to fuck me; what the hell is wrong with me?I stood up hastily to try and put the thoughts out of my mind. The jultig pain hit me in my lower tummy and down my vagina. I was limping into the shower. He really did a number on my body. No matter how wrong it might be, I don’t regret it. Standing under the hot spray, I got the image back. I started the evening different

Chapter 29Madelyn had gone all out in her preparations for Emrick and my dinner, likely because Emrick had asked her to create this romantic setting. The meal and dessert were delicious. A romantic setting with candlelight, all colors in Silver and marine blue. Emrick seems to like those colors, at least from what I've seen so far. My bite mark was always glowing silver, so it reminded me of that too. The table was set in white and marine blue. White tablecloth, silver candles, tableware with marine blue and silver trimming, and silver cutlery. It felt intimate and made me feel insecure-like I was standing on the edge of a cliff. I didn’t know what to say or how to act. We had barely had a conversation before having sex. Now it seemed absurd to be shy and have a hard time finding words in Emrick’s company. I had my head down, looking at my hands. They were clenched as when you pray; I could use extra help to get through this dinner although I wasn’t
