They hadn’t spoken since she hastily walked out of the first-class cabin. Armand went to get her, but after a couple of hours, she sulked at the bar with drinks. She went back and forth at least three times during the flight and was half intoxicated when they landed in Prague.Armand had his fill. She wasn’t happy about it, and she wasn’t overly upset about it either, so she drank. She hated herself for having that kind of relationship with her own husband, the love of her life. Or was he?He put his arm around her waist, and she broke away. Armand often does that. He pretended that having sex with another woman was not a big deal because he expected her to know that she was the only woman he ever wanted to be with. And he only did it because she rejected him. So he looped his arm around her waist again and kissed her this time.“You know I want you even more when you resist,” he said at the airport. He pulled her tighter. “Stop rejecting me in front of our crew ... or I will make you

“Joey said they would be staying there all night. The meeting went well,” Xander said on the phone with Tony. He had been communicating with him through the burner phone.“Good. Is Ari there with them?”“No ... she’s staying at the hotel. They posted me outside.”“Well ... she’s not anymore,” Tony said.“What?”“I put tracking on her phone ... she’s moving away from the hotel as we speak ... keep an eye on her, will you?”“Shit,” Xander muttered. “I’ll get back to you.” He hung up without waiting for a reply. It was a little over midnight, but the streets were still considerably crowded. Many pubs and clubs were open and had just started having people line up to get in.His radar was up. His eyes scanned the premises for that familiar figure. He discarded his post without telling anyone. What’s the use? His main job was to protect the princess, who was now sneaking away from her watchman. He was brisk on his feet, breaking his way through the crowd. He was taller than most pedestrians

“It’s so nice to finally meet you,” Ilya kissed Ariana’s hand, followed by a grin that showed his silver teeth. The tattoo around his left eye made his white eye look eerily sadistic. The blue-haired brother used a white contact lens on his left eye because it was damaged during a fight a few years back.“Your beauty resounded across the oceans ... I hear only praises about your elegance and glamor, Mrs. Lombardo. Your husband is a lucky man,” he added, still holding her hand.Armand slapped his hand away, took a handkerchief from his pocket, and wiped his wife’s hand. “That’s enough,” he glared at him. “Cut the crap and move on with the inspection.”Everyone tensed except for Ilya. He kept his grin and bowed to the couple, “Lead the way.”They entered the private storage owned by Alonzo Montenero, Ariana’s father. The storage was shared with Cossimo, and they started the weapon smuggling business together. It was one of the reasons why Cossimo decided to follow his greed and betray h

It happened so fast. Before anyone exhaled the breath they held when they heard what Ilya said, Armand had managed to ram a fork he took from the dining table into Ilya’s right eye. He grabbed Ilya’s gun and shot Ivan in the crotch as he moved to jump at Armand.Ivan dropped to his knees, holding his bleeding cock. Ilya tried to grab Armand with the fork still stuck in his eye, but Armand shot him in the stomach. Irina was screaming at the top of her lungs, and he grabbed her by the neck and pressed the gun to her head.Screams were all they could hear as the girls hurried out of the room. Ivan and Ilya were howling in pain. But it was all muffled in Xander’s ear. He took his guns out and pointed in every direction the Vasiliev’s men came from. It was no use being cautious anymore; he started shooting at every one of them.“Get him out of here!” Xander said to Joey, who was also shooting at the men who started opening fire at them, too.“Stop shooting! I’ll fucking blow her brains out

“They’re all dead ...” Pasquale’s voice was on the speakerphone. “My source just told me ... all three siblings are dead ... the local news reported a fight had erupted at the party that involved guns ... they haven’t reported the deaths. I think the local police wanted to investigate the case further before the news broke to the public,” he sighed deeply.“This is an absolute nightmare, Armand. What the fuck happened?” he finally asked the real question. “One minute, the deal was going well; the next ... why did you have to kill them? You know this will not go well with Igor; he’s going to go after us until every last one of us dies!”Ari looked at Armand, who was sitting across from her in the first-class cabin. There were only the two of them and Pasquale on the phone line.“Not if we kill him first ... get our men to go after him,” Armand said calmly. He was looking out the plane window.“It’s not as easy as you think. He’s in hiding now for sure ... strategizing how he’s going to
