“Hey.” Calix nudged Selene on her shoulder. She jumped by his touch and her gaze quickly flew at his worried face. “Are you okay? You seemed tired.”
Selene forced a smile. “Yeah, yes I’m sorry what were you saying?”
Calix sighed, worry still not leaving his eyes. “I said Rebecca’s here.” Calix turned to his side and pointed at a fine and elegantly looking lady talking with some guests. “I want you to meet her. Will that be fine?”
“Goodness Calix, of course I want to meet your fiance! Come on.” Selene pulled Calix on his arm and dragged him closer to Rebecca.
“Baby,” Calix called her, Rebecca’s eyes landed on Selene and she immediately excused herself from the guests. “This is Selene.”

“How many are still left?” he asked Zera, while massaging his temples as he sighs out of exhaustion.
