Lucas felt a sudden jolt on his chest and flew himself right up. He gasped for air but his lungs felt shallow, nothing on his body was pulsating with life. His eyes widened with agitation as his pupils constrict trying to see from the darkness.
He pulled himself up after letting the dizziness subside. A familiar cold pierced his skin but it no longer hurt him, he can only feel the scentless fog around, brushing against his pale skin. He exhaled slowly as he took his first step. His hands winging in the air, trying to find something concrete that could guide him. Finally as he took big strides to what seems like a place empty in all matter, his hand touched a rough barrier, he let his hands wander on it until he felt a knob. Lucas closed his eyes, readying himself to enter his home. He twisted the doorknob and pulled the door open.
