I tend to do short, focused farming sessions. Run the specific activity tied to the loot (raid for raid gear, dungeon for dungeon loot, 'Nightfall' for high-end drops). Use a consistent fireteam so you clear faster and can queue repeatedly. Turn in weekly and seasonal bounties each reset and make sure clan engrams are claimed. If I'm after exotics I rotate through exotic caches, questlines, and the weekly vendor inventory. Keep an eye on difficulty modifiers — higher challenges can increase prestige drops — and don’t forget that sometimes the best tactic is persistence plus a little luck.
On chill weekends I like to farm with small, repeatable loops. Pick a single activity that actually drops the gear type you want — don't just grind random patrols and hope. Stack your character engrams and turn in vendor items before major sessions so you aren't wasting potential drops. I always flip through seasonal vendors and rank-up rewards first, since they sometimes sell exclusive or hard-to-get pieces.
For exotics, I nudge fate by completing quests and checking 'Nightfall' rotations, plus I dismantle old exotics for chance at exotic engrams. If you’re short on time, do a couple of meaningful runs (a few raid bosses, a dungeon, and a 'Nightfall') rather than ten unfocused missions. It keeps the session fun and increases the odds of walking away with something you actually want.
Hunting rare drops in 'Destiny' feels like a mix of ritual and patience for me — part checklist, part weird RNG prayer. First thing I do is pick a target: a raid weapon, a specific exotic, or just raw Pinnacle gear. Once I know the drop pool, I stack activities that actually drop that loot. Raids and dungeons are king for unique weapons and armor sets, so I clear the encounter on the highest difficulty I can reliably manage. Higher difficulty often nudges drop quality and adds prestige-only rolls, so organizing a solid fireteam or using an LFG is worth the time.
Next, I chase weekly and seasonal milestones — powerful and pinnacle rewards are your steady power climb. I always make sure to finish the weekly mythic-ish activities (like 'Nightfall' or endgame encounters) and turn in world bounties from vendors. If I'm farming exotics, I rotate through exotic sources: weekly vendors, exotic engrams from dismantling and activities, and tracking when 'Xûr' has interesting pieces. Lastly, I bank resources: Legendary Shards, Enhancement Prisms, and an infusion plan so I can immediately bring favored drops up to par. It’s slow but focused: decide what you want, run the right content repeatedly, and treat side rewards as gravy. Sometimes the best tip is to enjoy the loop — the rare drop feels earned that way.
I've got this habit of approaching loot farming like a checklist on my phone. I write down the specific items I want, then map each one to the activity that drops it. For instance, raid exclusives stay in raids, trials stuff I chase during weekends when people are sweaty and serious, and 'Nightfall' rotations often carry improved chances for certain weapon archetypes. I prioritize activities that give both Powerful and Pinnacle rewards so nothing I do is wasted.
Clan perks are huge for me — having a weekly clan engram and doing clan bounties boosts the total drops across the team. I also use consumables and boosters when I know I'm doing a long session: double XP is tempting, but I prefer boosts that increase drop opportunities if available. For exotics I keep an eye on quests, exotic engrams, and vendor inventories. And when RNG gets cruel, I switch goals for a while; variety keeps me sane and sometimes I stumble into an unexpected god-roll while doing something else.
Whenever I'm in full grind mode I act like a raid leader planning a campaign. I list the drops we want, assign roles, and time runs to hit weekly resets efficiently. For target farming, we lock in a rotation: two raid clears, one dungeon, and a few 'Nightfall' runs, with quick patrol loops in between to mop up unmatched engrams. Communication matters — callouts for boss phases and chest locations save precious minutes and increase clear speed.
I also balance resource economy: save powerful tokens for the characters that need the boost most, and shard/dismantle gear strategically to keep infusion costs down. If a particular weapon doesn't drop after a dozen runs, we swap to a different activity for variety, then return later; sometimes that cooldown magically resets the RNG. This structured but flexible approach keeps morale high and the loot table slowly turning in my favor.

Emma Spencer is a financial risk analyst at a major international company. Finally, after years of not taking her vacation, she takes time off for her upcoming wedding and honeymoon. However, everything takes a major turn when she finds herself in Hawaii alone, without her husband. For the first time, she flips a coin and decides to live a risk-free and passionate night with the first stranger she encounters in a bar, someone she will never see again in her life. What were the chances of meeting again? Absolutely none. But fate brings them back together unexpectedly... and in the least expected place.
Destiny, an 18-year-old girl, has not left her castle for years, ever since her mother was killed by demons sent by Lucifer. Determined to avenge her mother’s death, she sets out on a quest to kill Lucifer himself and rid the world of demons.
Before she can face Lucifer, Destiny must attend the academy, where she will be chosen to enter the Underworld—a place where all evil resides. Alongside her companions Lex, June, Nixton, Kelvin, and Gold, Destiny embarks on a dangerous journey into a world of destruction, facing untold perils and discovering the adventure of a lifetime.
I was invisible—a hollow Omega maid serving the ruthless Alpha of Silvermoon. Sent to the prestigious Alpha Academy to nanny his spoiled daughter, I survived by being a ghost. They called me a runt. A parasite. A wolf with no bite.
They were wrong.
On my eighteenth birthday, the cage in my chest shattered. My wolf—long thought dead—awakened with a power so ancient it sent the academy’s three Apex Alphas flying across the floor.
Now, they hunt me. Kael, the cruel prince. Ronan, the savage brute. Zephyr, the calculating strategist. They don’t just want my power—they want to own me. Break me. Claim me.
But they don’t know the truth. My parents weren’t killed by rogues. They were murdered by the Council for carrying a bloodline that threatened their rule. A bloodline that now pulses through my veins.
I am the Primordial Queen they were warned about.
They wanted a maid to crush. Instead, they woke a storm. And I am not here to kneel.
I am here to burn their world to ash.
Who said the weak can’t become strong? Even without powers I can become the most powerful. The Hunter race had existed for several millennia working both in the shadows and in the light protecting humanity from creatures that aren’t from this world, at the age of seven every child in the Hunter race would visit the Hunter god’s temple and receive his blessing in the form of a supernatural ability. Amongst the Hunters were different kinds of people with different types of abilities but one this was common amongst all of them and that was the colour of their eyes, they were all green. Marcus Fault on the other hand was born with icy blue eyes which made majority of the Hunters view him in a different light and from the moment he was born, his life was in danger and each day was like walking on the edge of the abyss, one slip off and he would fall never to return. When he was seventh birthday just like the tradition he was to head to the Hunter god temple to receive his blessings, his talent was first tested and stunning everyone present as he was tested to have legendary talent but unfortunately he wasn’t blessed by the Hunter god and thus the first powerless Hunter was born.

The grind for Exotics in 'Destiny 2' can feel like chasing ghosts sometimes, but there are definitely ways to speed it up. First off, don’t sleep on Xur—that mysterious vendor shows up every weekend with a rotating stock of Exotics for Legendary Shards. Even if you don’t need what he’s selling, his exotic engram is a guaranteed drop you don’t own yet (assuming you have the expansions). Legendary Lost Sectors are another goldmine; soloing these on Master or Legend difficulty gives you a solid shot at Exotic armor specific to the activity’s daily rotation. It’s tough, but the payoff is worth it.
Then there’s Nightfalls, especially when they’re double rewards week. Higher difficulties ramp up the drop rates, and with a good fireteam, you can farm them efficiently. Raids and dungeons also drop Exotics—some are tied to specific encounters, like 'Vault of Glass' or 'Duality,' so check which ones align with your goals. Lastly, don’t ignore seasonal content; activities like 'PsiOps' or 'Heist Battlegrounds' often have Exotic rewards tied to their questlines or reputation tracks. It’s all about mixing efficiency with a bit of luck—and maybe bribing RNGesus with a sacrificial dance emote.
Legendary Shards in 'Destiny 2' are like gold dust—everyone needs them, but they never seem to stick around long enough. My go-to method is dismantling legendary and exotic gear, especially stuff I don’t need. I’ve hoarded so many weapons from playlist activities that my vault practically groans when I open it. Crucible, Gambit, and strikes shower you with legendaries, and even if the rolls aren’t great, they’re shard factories. Nightfalls are another goldmine; higher difficulties drop more loot, and it’s satisfying to see that post-game screen filled with purple engrams.
Another underrated trick is focusing engrams at vendors. It costs shards upfront, but you often get duplicates or junk rolls that can be recycled. I’ve burned through my stash at the War Table during seasonal events, but the return on investment is solid. Also, don’t sleep on Rahool’s legendary engrams—sometimes he’s got hidden gems (or at least hidden shards). The key is to stay active in endgame content; raids and dungeons might not always drop what you want, but they’ll keep your shard count healthy.
Rare loot in Destiny? It's all about persistence and knowing where to look. I've spent countless hours grinding strikes, raids, and even just patrolling planets for those elusive drops. One thing I learned early on is that higher difficulty activities usually have better chances—master-level nightfalls or legendary lost sectors often surprise me with decent gear. But RNG can be cruel; I remember running 'Vault of Glass' 20 times before 'Fatebringer' finally dropped for me.
Don’t overlook vendors either! Banshee-44’s weapon rolls or Xur’s weekly exotic offerings sometimes hide gems. Seasonal events like 'The Dawning' or 'Guardian Games' often introduce limited-time loot pools too. And if you’re into PvP, Trials of Osiris rewards can be insane—if you survive the sweatfest. Honestly, half the fun is the chase, but when that shiny exotic finally lands in your inventory? Pure dopamine.
