Checked my library's digital collection first—nothing. I ended up buying it on Audible, and it was worth it. The narrator's performance adds a layer to the whole 'eternal lovers as enemies' concept that you don't get from just reading. I will say, I was hoping for a bit more vocal distinction between the two main characters during some of the intense dialogue scenes, but overall it's a good listen. You can probably find used CD copies floating around on eBay or something too, if you're into physical media. Audible is the simplest bet, though.
Finding the 'Juliet Immortal' audiobook drove me a little nuts last year. It's one of those titles that seems to slip through the cracks of the big platforms sometimes. After digging around, I found it's exclusively on Audible—no other subscription service had it when I looked. It wasn't on Scribd or my library's app, Hoopla, either, which was a bummer.
If you're a member, that's definitely your main route. The production is pretty solid; the narrator nails that sort of dark, angsty romantic tension between the sworn enemies. I listened on a long drive and got totally sucked in. I'd recommend checking if your local library offers an Audible subscription through Libby; sometimes you can get lucky with a borrow instead of a purchase.
Definitely Audible. I listened to it last month. The narrator's voice for Romeo's spirit in the modern-day host is particularly chilling and effective, way more sinister than I imagined when I read it years ago. It's not on Spotify or Apple Books as a standalone purchase from what I could see, which is a shame. If you don't have Audible, maybe look for a digital download card from a second-hand bookshop online? I've seen those for other titles.
I had the same question a while back! It's on Audible, but I also managed to snag a copy through my library's partnership with a service called RBdigital (which I think got folded into something else now). It's worth doing a deep dive on OverDrive or Libby with your library card, because availability can be super regional. The audio edition is interesting—they made some production choices with music and sound effects in the pivotal scenes that I wasn't totally sold on, but the core story is still as tragically romantic as ever. If you're into Stacey Jay's twist on the Romeo and Juliet myth, hearing it aloud gives the rivalry a more immediate feel.
Audible has it. That's it, really. I just searched a bunch of places, and it's only there as far as major retailers go. The audiobook's okay; I think I preferred reading the physical book because the formatting for the shifts between time periods felt clearer. But if you're an audio person, go for it. Maybe check if there's a free trial you can use to get it.

Well, this is one of those titles I had to go on a bit of a hunt for myself, since it's not on the big mainstream platforms like Audible. For a digital ebook, your most reliable option is definitely through Kindle. I checked and it's available for purchase on Amazon. For audiobooks, the situation is trickier. It's not on Audible, which is a real bummer, but I found it on Google Play Books and Apple Books as an audiobook purchase.
You might have some luck with your local library's digital lending service, like OverDrive or Libby. It really depends on your specific library's catalog, but that's always worth a shot for a free, legal listen. I remember checking a couple of years ago and it was a waitlist situation, but things rotate. Honestly, for a book that's been out for a while like 'Juliet Immortal', the pickings can be a bit slim outside of the major ebook retailers.
The author's other works got more traction, so this one feels a bit like a hidden prize you have to dig for. I ended up buying the Kindle version and using text-to-speech in a pinch, though it's obviously not the same as a proper performance.
I'm obsessed with 'Does Immortality a Love Story' and have dug deep into its availability. Yes, there is an audiobook version! It's narrated by this incredible voice actor who captures the melancholic romance perfectly. The way they portray the protagonist's eternal struggle with love and time gives me chills. I listened to it while commuting, and it made the mundane feel epic. The production quality is top-notch, with subtle background music enhancing key emotional scenes. It's available on major platforms like Audible and Google Play Books, though sometimes regional restrictions apply.
What's fascinating is how the audiobook adds layers to the story. The narrator's pauses during pivotal moments create this unbearable tension that text alone can't achieve. There's a scene where the immortal character watches their lover age—the raw emotion in the narrator's voice had me in tears. The audiobook also includes an exclusive afterword from the author about the themes of timeless love, which isn't in the print version. If you're into atmospheric storytelling, this adaptation is a must-experience.
