Delia sighed and inspected her fingernails.
I rolled my eyes and started to walk away. The last thing I needed was to get involved in some petty drama. But before I could take another step, Delia stepped in front of me, blocking my way. "Don't mind Delia. She's just jealous because she thought she had a chance with Hughy," Janie said, smirking. "I don't have time for this," I said, trying to push past Delia. "You should have thought twice before getting involved with Hughy. He's not worth it," Delia said, her voice dripping with venom. "That's enough!" I said, my patience wearing thin. "I don't care what your problem is with me, but if you don't back off right now, I'll make sure you regret it." Delia looked like she was about to say something else, but Janie grabbed her arm and pulled her away. "Let's go, Delia. She's not worth it," Janie said, casting one last smirk my way before they both disappeared down the path.
