Child of light, shining star, fire in her heart
Brightest day, melting snow, breaking through the chill

Darkest cloud, endless storm, raining from his heart
Coldest moon, deepest blue, tearing down the spring
October and April

We were like loaded guns, sacrificed our lives

Light and Darkness are usually presented as fierce enemies fighting for power over the world or the human soul. This fight is presented by various beings who, in turn, belong to one of these sides - good ones to Light, evil to Darkness. The struggle between these creatures seems to be endless, the more so as these creatures usually are at least long-lived, if not immortal. This shows exactly that the war
between Light and Darkness will last as long as the world exists, or actually as long as there is a human being on it - because this struggle often lasts for his soul. Our world alone, without us, would certainly not be such a tempting trophy, especially for the darker side of this conflict.
