"One Decision" follows eighteen -year-old Freya Myers, a brilliant but broken foster teen, as she teeters on the edge of a new beginning-and a hidden nightmare. With a perfect GPA and dreams of opening a bookstore, Freya is determined to escape a system that's failed her. When a wealthy Southern family unexpectedly adopts her and whisks her away to a private estate in Georgia, it feels too good to be true.
Because it is.
The mansion is beautiful. The people? Picture-perfect. But behind the polished smiles and choreographed greetings lies something Freya can't quite name-yet. Strange rules. Watchful eyes. Whispers behind closed doors. And her new "brothers," who know more about her than they should.
As Freya digs deeper into the family's secrets, she's forced to confront her past and a chilling truth: she may not have been saved... she may have been chosen.
Dark, gripping, and emotionally raw, One Decision is a psychological coming-of-age thriller that explores what happens when the price of belonging may be your freedom-or your soul.

Somewhere between staying silent and screaming for help… she existed.
Seventeen-year-old Maren has mastered the art of disappearing in plain sight. Haunted by past trauma, locked in a toxic relationship she can't escape, and drowning under the pressure of school and a world that never cared to understand her, she begins to wonder if life is even worth staying for.
No one sees her pain—until he does.
The new boy, Kade, has his own shadows. He’s blunt, observant, and completely unafraid to call her out—making him an instant enemy. But when he overhears a moment no one was meant to witness, he realizes the truth: the girl everyone overlooks is barely holding on.
As Kade steps deeper into her shattered world, their connection becomes a lifeline. But secrets run deeper than he imagined, and when Maren goes missing, no one believes she’s worth finding—except him.
Fighting time, silence, and the lies that built her cage, Kade refuses to give up. Because sometimes, saving someone means proving they were never invisible at all.
A heartbreaking, haunting, and ultimately hopeful story about survival, truth, and what it really means to be seen.

The laundromat I regularly visit has been showing an odd fluctuation in its price lately.
"This coat isn't easy to wash. We're probably the only store that's willing to clean this at a loss. The market price is 55 dollars per item, but I'll give you a discount and only ask for 200 dollars for four items."
I look at the boss' mother, who's new at the laundromat. I'm a little pissed. Still, I hand her my membership card without saying anything.
This laundromat is opposite my residential area, and they had a promotion during their opening. I topped up ten thousand dollars on the card because I pitied the owner for raising a child alone.
Unexpectedly, the owner's mother looks at me and says sarcastically, "That dumb membership card means nothing to me—you have to pay me in cash. You youngsters are too lazy to wash your clothes, yet you're more than willing to use your brains for nonsense like this. My son is too kind to let you take advantage of him like this."
I grab my clothes and leave. It's time to use my brain for some nonsense—I think the laundromat should have a new owner.

Overpowered by the strong hands who grabbed her by the hair and pulled her along, dragging her into a dark room that recks of urine and cigarettes. Hurled her inside. His hands still gripping her hair and not doubt if he let go, some strands of hair would fall of.
Undeniably, the pains were suffocating. When she stares at his dark eyes, the only thing she saw was darkness.
“Let go, let go of me you bastard!” She spit out. That only made his mighty five fingers appear on her face. Which sent her head spinning on her neck.
He made her kiss the earth. And slowly breathed in her face.
“Your life ends here....” his voice was deep baritone and cruel and that was when she felt the shivers down her spine.
How did the nerdy Elina find her way into the merciless billionaire’s court?
COME TO ME
The dark matter had come to claim her soul.
"Don't go. Do as he says," grandmother said. Suzanne blinked and looked into her grandmother's face.
"Grandmama?”
Grandmother's eyes were no longer glazed, and she had spoken with such clarity when usually, her speech was slurred. At that very moment, Suzanne had no doubt that her grandmother’s mind was crystal clear.
Grandmother held onto Suzanne's hand and gently pried open her palm, revealing the black mark. Grandmother's eyes narrowed as she traced her bony finger on Suzanne's palm before staring back at Suzanne.
"This," she pointed at Suzanne's palm, "This is the mark of the beast.”

On Christmas people should be with their loved ones in the safety of their homes, but I don't have any loved ones, and I'm in the one place that I hate, where I swore never to come back, afraid that I'll get even more broken, and it seems that the more I try to get away, the more obstacles I encounter.
"I know a shop not very far from here, and they have the best mechanics in town. If you want, I could come with you and give you directions, I'm heading that way anyway, and for your kindness, I'll make your biggest wish come true," Said the old crazy Santa that jumped in front of my car out of nowhere.
"Can you teleport me from here? In another city, country, even on a deserted island? Anywhere but here?" I know that it wasn't nice of me to be sarcastic, but he's the reason why I have to prolong my say here.
"No." His short answer was said in an amused tone of voice, but I don't find anything funny right now.
"But that's just because that's not your biggest wish." He states it as a fact as if he's never been more sure of anything in his life.
I bite my tongue and pray that I won't see the two people I used o love the most, and which now, I despise the most, the two people responsible for my nightmares and my broken being.
INSIDE OUT
".....one thing is clear to me now, Lind" he allowed the words sink in for effect. Cold beads of sweat broke out on her fore head. She was as confused as she was scared. Where was this fear coming from? Her lips were beginning to tremble, her hands shook like a leaf. Her pupils were visibly dilated. "You are two-faced Lind. Are you in or out?" he asked with a growl filling his dark and powerful voice. His hand was still like a vice gripping her slender neck. Melinda was beyond terrified, yet she couldn't explain why her lustful desire for him was etched deep in the pit of her stomach or her heart. She didn't know which exactly. She would find out the answer to her questions once she answered his.

Dreams Come True
My husband died unexpectedly, and my mother-in-law adopted a newborn boy. She said she wanted to keep this child by her side as a reminder of my husband. Therefore, I raised him as my own child.
Later, when he grew up, I gave him the company with peace of mind.
The first thing my son did after taking power was to have someone lock me up in the basement and torture me. He said, "If it weren't for you, I wouldn’t have been separated from my parents all these years."
At the moment of my death, my husband, who had supposedly passed away for many years, appeared with his first love in his arms. "Sophia, how does it feel to be cheated for more than ten years? Fortunately, you raised a son for me so that we can live happily without you."
Angered to death, I could only watch the three of them.
When I opened my eyes again, I returned to the day when my husband died unexpectedly.
