Alpha Calvin This morning ended up being an absolute shit show, that prick of an Alpha lied through his stinking teeth to get us to help him and god knows how many other packs he told that lie to. I don't understand why he did it and I don't understand why he had a problem with his Beta's son being gay. Fuck I couldn't give a fuck what your sexual preference is, it doesn't define you and it certainly doesn't stop you from being a good person.

"Why say it when you don't mean it?" He stood up straighter. Now we were face to face in the garden, staring each other down. His eyes were unreadable, calm—but not in a good way. However, his next few words have my world almost grinding to a halt. “Are you sure you are an alpha? I have never seen an alpha this short.” Shit.

He won’t just sit and order everyone to be inside their home.” Saying this, I turned around and continued with what I was doing before she arrived with her crazy news.

Is he truly concerned about my future, or does he have ulterior motives? I find myself torn between wanting to trust him, to believe that he has my best interests at heart, and the nagging doubt that gnaws at the back of my mind. The alpha’s stoic expression only fuels my skepticism, making it difficult to decipher his true intentions. Is he using my vulnerability as an opportunity to gain control over me? Or does he genuinely want to help me navigate this new chapter of my life?
