"I know, but Damon…" My mother had suddenly appeared at the door, attracted by the brewing noise; her eyes had grown wide as she spotted Damon and Cassandra half-naked. "What is the meaning of this, Damon? Annie, why are you sobbing?" Cassandra seized the opportunity. She pointed at the pizza I mistakenly spilled on the floor. "Look, Mrs. Scarlett! Your ‘precious’ daughter tried to sneak in and attack Damon! She's trying to get obsessed with him! She doesn't want to accept that the Alpha already chose me. Your daughter keeps doing crazy things even when I'm the true Luna. I have been waiting for this poor thing of yours to leave him for me!"

I felt really bad for what just happened. "Don't worry about it, it's just a shirt" he tried to reason. "I am Jason by the way" he introduced himself, smiling a little. "I'm Ana" I returned. "Such a beautiful name for a pretty lady" Was he trying to flirt with me? I smile at him, he must be good with the ladies. Mr Shawn snapped back to reality and apologized immediately. He hesitated before making his way to the door. Abigail got up and held his hands before he could leave. Mr Shawn paused unsure of what to do. His mind went blank. Abigail moved closer and wrapped her hands around his waist and he froze. She placed her head on his back and her hand rubbed his chest region. Mr Shawn was struggling in his mind to break free from her caressing. Abigail whispered into his ears from behind him, "I want you, Adam"

She sits at one of the tables, sipping what appears to be a martini, and her face contorts in disgust after her first sip. I chuckle, tilting my head as I observe her. She wears a sash, but due to the distance and dim lighting, I am unable to decipher its inscription. "Gelo," I utter, the name of my beta. "I desire to know the message on her sash." Gelo chuckles next to me, catching my eye. "It's her twenty-second birthday. Her sash says to buy her a drink. I've sent you, her details." My phone vibrates a moment later. I pull it out of my pocket, her username shining brightly on the screen. The temptation to ignore this perfect chance tugs at me, but I can't resist the mystery of the unknown

I couldn’t ignore the fact that the voice had sounded exactly like Spencer. “What exactly is goimg on?” I wondered aloud. A knock sounded on my door, ending my flow of throats. I rolled my eyes in frustration as I answered. “Come in.” The door creaked open and a petite girl dressimg in a thigh length black dress covered with a white apron entered. “Hello, Alyssa. What’s the matter?” I asked. Alyssa was the maid permanently assigned to me for the rest of my life. “You have a visitor, Mrs,” Alyssa replied. I could see that she was trying hard to fight the blush off her face, and neither did i miss the emphasis on the last word she uttered.

The third ring came, and this time, someone picked up. “What the hell do you want, Cohen?” Asher’s voice thundered through the speaker, low and furious. “I swear to the Goddess, if you hurt her—” “Asher…” My voice cracked into a sob. There was a long, stunned silence. Then the sound of his breath catching sharply. “Aliyah?” His tone broke, suddenly soft but filled with alarm. “Aliyah, is that you?” I nodded even though he couldn’t see me. “It’s me,” I choked out between tears. “Asher, please help me. Please. I can’t—he’s—he’s going to kill me.”

she smiled at me politely and extended her hand. "I would be happy to help out. I'm Ashely Albright," I replied excitedly and shook her hand. After we discussed my qualifications and working hours, I was all set to start from Monday. I waved her goodbye and walked out of the coffee shop. I had some time at hand and decided to explore the other shops nearby.
