Banshees. “What the hell are they doing here?” I yelled, loosing an arrow into the neck of one Algoth as it swooped toward Valen. The creature screeched and dropped, wings twitching. “They’re not supposed to be this far north!” “They’re drawn to you,” Rhaenan shouted back, slashing his sword through a banshee mid-scream. “To the Aether. Or maybe Kyante’s corrupted them. Warped them with her magic.” My blood ran cold.

The banshee didn't flinch, so Bella got on top of me, but I lifted my wounds and the creature stopped abruptly. She moved away, and when she opened her mouth, Aisha fired a barrage of alloy bullets at her to stop her from singing. A banshee's song could be not only dangerous but also lethal. “I have to get closer; I have to finish proving my point,” I said with conviction. “This isn't good, Selene. We need to leave now. This is bad. This—” Bella fell silent as the banshee advanced, so I raised my arm again and finally touched the creature. The banshee fell to the gr

Hunter said and continued. "You know we had one more member in our gang. Her name was Sarah. She was like our family. The girl was in love with Rasmus. When she turns 18 she found out Rasmus was her mate but then everything stopped during the rogue attack, and she was killed. She was like a sister to me. I loved her as much as I loved Aurora and Angela. But she left us. It broke us apart but Moon Goddess sent Catherine and she named her baby Sarah," Hunter rasped. His eyes were misty.

I looked like a ghost the moment I stood in front of a mirror this morning so I just ran myself a hot bath and dressed in a lose Jean and a hooded sweatshirt, I was developing a slight headache too till then comes Isa that kept insisting I see the pack doctor and get treated, but I can’t go to the pack doctor and announce having a cold, he reports to the alpha after all and besides I’ve had worse health issues and never took a single pill or care at Crescent moon, I rather got beaten for slacking off in my duties. Isa came back with a cup of steaming tea with a weird smell. “Damn Isa, what’s this?” I asked “It’s a special herbal tea brewed with banshee leaves,

“This belongs to Thomas's mother. Your grandmother. She was a banshee along with some other things. You are a were- banshee.” “Am I supposed to know what a banshee is? “I would be impressed if you did”, my dad snickered. My mom shot him a look while he shrugged. “A banshee is also known as the wailing woman. A harbinger of death. A banshee is one that has the ability to predict death along with some other special gifts like visions. Banshees are known for their cry or like what happened at school when y

Wilbur's gaze fell on the scroll. "A gift?" "Yes. This scroll contains the Howl of the Banshee, and its user will be immune to its attack. It's pretty rare," smiled Zenith. Even Wilbur was a little stunned. The Howl of the Banshee was already a high-level skill, and terrifyingly powerful. Even someone of the Sanctuary level, if caught off-guard, might have their soul crushed from its attack. On top of that, the spell scroll was capable of releasing its power in the blink of an eye. That definitely made it good for surprise attacks.

Banshee : A banshee is a spirit in the form of a wailing woman whose appearance is an omen that one member of a family will die.

"When Vraxlon found me in the territory of Hyenna and taught me how to create a portal, he said he was afraid of the powers of Banshee that existed in me. What does that really mean? What is this creature?” Faye straightened up and crossed her arms, turning her back to the cell and watching the window at the top, knowing very well that the other four women would know what we were saying. "Each world has its own different story about this kind of creature. In general, they are women who, when crying, transmit all kinds of bad agours with their tears. There are very old reports that could predict death, and others that say that they are the cause of the deaths t
