Black Dragon

Black Dragon

Then the last one, well, I smiled as I saw him. “You heard the name BLACK DRAGON right?” our boss continued. I can clearly see their reactions. The tall guy just raised an eyebrow. The mohawk guy looked straight to our boss. The last one just smiled and the youngest boy looked excited. “Black Dragon?! Who wouldn’t know him?! He’s a legend! One of the few we look up to! He can be lined up beside Shadow and Eclipse! An expert and a genius! You’re going to introduce him to us?!” he finally said. I smiled. If only you know. I thought.

The Dragons of Edon

The Dragons of Edon

The Sorceresses were less vocal, but were equally proud and relieved that the task was done. Nayara and Ghaeron, however, flew down to the far end of the valley, where their sire had fallen to the ground. The Knights and Sorceresses were intrigued, but were reluctant to approach the body of the huge Dragon, who was easily twice the size of his offspring. It was apparent that his mate had managed to inflict a serious wound upon him. A pool of blood formed beneath the great gash in his belly. And while a Dragon’s essence was immortal, it was possible for their physical form to perish, though it was difficult to cause it to do so. There was little that could be done for Gheyaral, and the younge

Fated to The Northlord

Fated to The Northlord

I opened it and noticed the printing was only on a few pages it was no longer blank like it was earlier, maybe magic decided I needed to read the red one first. I shrugged as I sat back down and read the four pages that were available. they all basically said that dragons can be born from humans but if they are from an egg that the mother decides when the egg hatches. If they want a dragonkin in the near future it can be done but if they want to wait? well it says mother can keep that egg safe without every worrying if it will spontaneously hatch. I did find a small paragraph on female dragons that said they are celestial beings and the male dragon only has to wish upon a star and his dragon

Fire Chronicles

Fire Chronicles

My heart breaks for what Drakon will do to them. His first burst of dragon fire ignites the men in the lead. I don't have time to dwell on their silent screams as they fall. I must save my son. While Drakon's attention is on the humans, I rush him from behind with my talons fully extended. They slide off his scales causing no damage. His tail catches me in the head again. One of my teeth breaks and blood splatters against the stone walls. My breath returns in a rush as flames roar from my throat. Drakon's maniacal laugh will haunt me forever. He's crazy. I can see it in his devil's eyes. He plans to kill us all. I must somehow strike at Drakon's underbelly. It's the most important self-defen

Brothers of Ash and Fire

Brothers of Ash and Fire

She'd created a batch of the dragon-dampening serum for herself, and she had the vials tucked away safely in her hotel mini-fridge. She went over the list of what she knew about dragons in her head as the taxi drove toward Rurik's nightclub, the Lair. 1. Dragons could grow oldlike thousands of yearsbut for most of their lives they resembled men and women in their mid-thirties. 2. There were more than a dozen breeds, such as Russian Imperials and Nordic ice dragons. Rivalries were common between many of them.

The Silver Dragon

The Silver Dragon

My stomach is growling demanding food. “Alright we can continue this first thing in the morning,” dad looks at us sternly. “Do not be late.” Dad then tosses a very old book at me. “What’s this,” I ask. “That book holds the history of all the realms. What creatures live where, details about each creature and what powers they possess. I want you to specifically read about the dragons. There are six types of dragons aside from the silver dragons and they all have different powers.” Dad then tossed a binder at Owen. “That is a copy of the book but only has the dragon information. You need to read up too. I expect you both to read about each of the dragons and what powers they possess. You’ll nee

The Oracle and the Dragon Prince

The Oracle and the Dragon Prince

I'm not crazy about everyone knowing that my powers, but I know that any ally of our pack is safe. Saige is going crazy in my head when I start smelling the most delicious smell. It smells like sandalwood and mint. I was lost in that scent when the most beautiful dragon I have ever seen lands in our wood line, lets off two children, and after getting dressed approaches us. The man is an Adonis! He has jet-black hair, the most gorgeous emerald green eyes I have ever seen, and he towers over me! The man must be close to seven feet tall! He's tall enough and wide enough to wrap himself around me at least a couple times. Saige keeps saying, "MATE! MATE! Move closer to mate!" I said, "I can't! He

Monster Among the Roses

Monster Among the Roses

I’d always sucked at giving up, even when I probably should have. I stole into the library one last time for the day, bummed again. On Saturday morning, though, I struck gold. Something sat on the sofa in exactly the same place I’d left my two gifts for Isobel. Holding my breath, I drew closer to discover it was another dragon book: a mint-condition hardback copy of Eragon by Christopher Paolini. It had been popular when I’d been a teen, but I’d never read it.

The Pack's Dragon

The Pack's Dragon

“Of course. Of course. I suppose there are witches and fairies, and… I don’t know.” “Dragons,” Niarthen supplied. “Though they are all but extinct.” “Hmm, I imagine they are, as it would be hard to hide a dragon,” she agreed, her eyes on the road before her. It felt unreal to be having a conversation with a merman about dragons, werewolves, and vampires whilst driving alongside a flooded river away from religious fanatics. “I think I read a book about this once,” she realized. Maybe it was all a strange dream. Maybe she’d had an accident at the cottage and had knocked herself out, or was sick and having a fever dream…
