"You killed him?" I asked, unsure if he was capable of killing a man like Elder Blackthorn easily. Not even without a single scratch—one would have to be some type of original wolf for that to happen.
Elder Blackthorn had dabbled in some black magic, which had corrupted his wolf and made him some sort of soulless monster. One that didn't care how much blood he consumed as he achieved his aim. It had been a giant relief when Father had drowned him.
