Edward sighed as he accepted the fact that he had to explain his identity when Andrea burst out in tears. "My head hurts so much and I feel so cold. Everyone hates me…" Andrea cried as she held her head. Edward used this time to wear his masquerade mask before walking towards her. "Stay calm and go take your bath. I called a doctor to take care of you." He said as he sat beside her. *What's the use of wearing the mask when she already saw your face?* He asked himself, but disregarded it to focus on persuading her to take her bath.

But I couldn't give up now. Having rubbed enough, I placed my eyes again on the screen and continued my search. I was down to the last two and my hope was already diminished. But then the last image caught my eyes. The face was unrecognizable as there was no face only a pool of blood and broken bones. It was a familiar sight especially the long, beautiful mane of black hair that was splayed around the person like a halo. I checked the name of the patient. There was no name. All that was there was a single word, 'Unknown'.

The woman pushed her way through. “She’s not Eliza.” Max blocked the woman. Once the elevator arrived, he guarded Charity as she quickened her pace into the car. Only after the car left the mall did Charity remove her mask, revealing her weary face. Max tightened his hold on the steering wheel. “Don’t worry, Charity. I was wearing a mask, so nobody could guess my identity.” Charity shot a conflicted look at him. “Okay. Keep your eyes on the road, and don’t get me into an accident.”

It was all black and well fitted, they had a full head covered face mask that concealed their blonde hair and that had only a human skull drawn in front of it. "We look like low budget super heroes", Andrew teased. "Yeah, It was all Mark's Idea", Lucas said laughing. Mark's face was covered by his full head mask, but he laughed through it, even though neither Lucas or Andrew could see his facial expression. "I like it, it has a skull in front representing death to vampires. It's midnight, it's time", He said, as he removed his mask. He couldn't go out of their apartment wearing it. Lucas and Andrew both removed their mask as they placed it in a small backpack and headed out of the apartmen

It’s infuriating. “Why?” I snarl, leaning in close as I grab his bloodied face. “Why does Ghost keep interfering in our business? What’s his plan?” Marcello stares at me, his lips cracked and bloody. He doesn’t answer, just glares with a hatred that feels almost admirable. Eventually, his body gives out. No amount of morphine or care can pull him back this time. I step back, wiping the blood from my hands as I stare at what’s left of him—a mangled, broken shell of a man who refused to give me anything.

A Halloween film played on the tv, half keeping our attention.

No horror movie would dare design a scene this frightening! But looking closer, that chest was wearing a human skin mask. Even though Tang had secretly told her that Belinda wore a human skin mask, and Charlie had warned her he was going to rip it off, this scene was still terrifying. But what was even more terrifying was her true face. "So it’s really you—!"

Charlene POV I watched as Maria heaved a deep sigh when I stopped the car in front of the orphanage home. ‘’Are you sure that you don’t want her to know that you are alive?’’ I asked before we both stepped out of the car. Maria nodded in response. ‘’what use would it be if she learns that I am alive only to know that I will die again?’’ she asked me and place the clown Mask on her face. ‘’it’s been five years Charlene and now, she has you to rely on so I wouldn’t want to add to the problem so I have to let her go. ‘’

Vicky rolled her eyes, her jaw resting on her palm. “I'll be back soon. Business is slow today so try not to doze off.” She chuckled, handing Vicky the apron before hurrying out of the coffee shop. She got into her car and speedily made her way to her son's school. “Harry!” She called out, sighting the little boy near the field, speaking to a strange man. Her brows folded in concern, her head tilting as if to get a better look. The man was wearing a black mask that covered his nose and mouth, and he was also wearing a suit, his hands tucked into his pockets. Charlene hurried over to them, quickly pulling Harry to the side as soon as she got there, a stern look on her face.

Everyone had their hands on their head. “I can’t believe I’m going to die today,” Chloe panicked. “We are not. Not until we kill him.” Char said with a burning fire of anger inside her. Soon, someone’s shadow is visible to all of them. “So, I’m here now. What’s your last wish? everybody speaks up. Be honest.” They all heard Scott’s voice. When he finally reached the floor, he removed the wolf mask and threw it away. “I can’t believe this mask didn’t give me any infections. I’m tired of wearing it.” He sighs. Charlotte noticed his two hands. He holds two guns in his hands.
