Everyone hated me after that, for taking away their alpha, for being weak and ugly." Lennox's hand came around her and held her close as she exposed more of herself. "The mask was a way of hiding my face so I don't disgust people but more than that it was what helped me stay close to my parents even when the wound was gone, I couldn't be without the mask."

My grip tightens on the phone. No. No, no, no. My heart slams against my ribs, my pulse roaring in my ears. I watch him—Ghost—standing in that fucking room, his hands shaking, desperation clear in his eyes. He wasn’t pleading for our lives. He was trying to undo what he did. “Why should we believe you?” the masked man asks. Ghost lets out a bitter, humorless laugh. “How else would I know the name? Come on, why do you think I told that idiot to stop?” His hands clench at his sides, his whole body tense. “Just take the three million and let us go.”

Chapter 3. *.* "Let me go!" She yelled as creepy dirty fingers with long stinky nails that smelt of dried blood tried to grab her foot that got pierced at the hospital. It was oozing out blood and the blood was as black as coal. Not minding the pains, she screamed and ran inside the woods as the man on a black hoodie, putting on a momo mask and a black cloak holding a sickle, kept chasing after her. "Leave me alone!" She dived into the woods and where she was, there were skulls all over and the place kept getting foggy.

*** In a dark room *** Looking into the dark room, you can see a couple of pictures pinned to a single section of the wall. On some of the pictures, markers had been used to draw an X on the faces. It was clear that these people must have had something happen to them, something clearly not good. Peering into the dimly lit abysmal room, a guy can be seen standing inside. He can be seen wearing a black hoodie with a nose mask. On the nose mask, the skull and bones sign, reminiscent of pirate ships, can be seen engraved on the black mask. There was some creepy slow music playing in the background and a bit of fog from the remains of put out cigarette butts. Who could this guy be?.........

It's just too much to watch. “Now let me remind you. You have a short time to get me that fucking blueprint and as for the general mask party that's to be hosted by Donovan McFlurry, make sure you attend and let me know what mask you're wearing” he orders and snaps his finger and I'm fed what would take me back to the Silvercrest pack. Inside, a music box began to play a haunting melody. The box was accompanied by a creepy mask with a grotesque face, its eyes seeming to stare right through them. A small note was attached to the mask, with a message scrawled in red ink: "I'm going for the kids first."

The stranger came over to me. “Rogue,” he replied. “We need to leave.” He held out his hand to help me up. As he did so, the moon came out from behind a cloud and illuminated him. His hood had slipped back, and his mask and sunglasses had come off to reveal no flesh, no eyes, nothing but a skull.

His heart was beating steadily as he fixed his eyes on the light at the end of the hall. The closer he got to the light, the louder the party was heard. Colton’s lips twitched into a half-smirk as he pulled out a mask from his jacket pocket. It was a white mask from the phantom of the opera. With his mask on and ready, Colton entered the light of the party. They won’t know what’s gonna hit them.
