Eyes glistening in happiness, smiles wide-reaching their ears, each one radiating the hope we all need for this new beginning. Five..... Four.... Three... Two.. One. January 1, 2051 - 12:00 am "Happy new year, everyone!" Fireworks lit up the sky and the cheers of the crowd roared, the sky was filled with hues of hope. The stars twinkle in delight, the moon danced with the night away. A smile made its way to my lips as I release a breathe, a sign that I am finally letting go of everything that happened last year. But I will keep the loving memories we all shared despite our struggles.
