I said and entered the property. I made my way quickly to the front door, which opened as soon as I stepped on the porch. The man in front of me wasn’t like the kings I knew back in the Alpha house. He was slight and not much taller than me. His look was almost feminine with a delicate heart-shaped face, full, round lips, and long lashes surrounding his ruby shaded eyes. Soft silver strands of hair floated around him. “I am Rhys. King of the Fae for the northwest region. What gift do you offer?” He asked.

I raised a brow at the king. He seemed to come back to his senses as my voice turned around suddenly. “GUARDS!!!” He roared and turned to Vren. “Have you lost it!” Guests around us began to scuttle back in fear and I noticed Vren’s grip on my arm tighten as the King’s face grew red. I cocked my head and stared at him curiously. Each Fae has a different power. What is his power? “Father no!” Vren suddenly moved in front of me. “Stop!”

"From the Fae Kingdom and they demand to see you immediately." My frown deepened. The Fae? I don't have many interactions or relations with them so I was confused. However I nodded and instructed, "Keep them entertained. I will be there soon." He nodded, bowed and left. I stood and walked around my desk, pondering thoughtfully... What do the Fae want from me? I don't remember much about them aside from the fact that their last king died a long time ago, probably when I was still a boy and they still haven't gotten a new king till now.

Crysanthi giggled. "By the way Genevieve, this is King Azak, Demigod King of the Fae Kingdom." Crysanthi added. "It's a pleasure, your grace. Thank you for allowing me to be here. From what I've seen of the palace, you have quite a breathtaking kingdom." I told him. "Thank you Genevieve. It's an honor to make your acquaintance as well. Crysanthi said Rayan is your mate so let's just hope King Rayan approves of your being here & doesn't attempt to destroy my kingdom to get you back." He replied.

I tried not to react at all, but I could tell he was taking his time to be theatrical and I wasn't interested in games. "You see, you're not the only saint I know. Delphine was a saint. She is a saint, more accurately. Among the fae, we don't have many true kings and queens. It takes a special, powerful being to truly fit the title. It tends to run in families, but it's not a guarantee. Because these kinds of rulers are so rare, the general population prefers to call them saints. They're almost deities." Sean was prattling on. This had nothing to do with making a deal. I didn't want to listen to hours of nonsense from him. "What does that have to do with making a deal?" I sighed.

A shewolf. "Hi, I'm Rae," I said with a smile. "Ray, as in sunrays?' She giggled. "Something like that," I laughed. "Let’s go then. We don't want to be late for practice. The king will be here." I sighed in relief. I thought she meant my dad. Blair looked towards the blond girl from earlier with disdain.

Floating on her back as she spoke. “I am Daphne. As you may have figured, I am the protector of this scared site. I am of the water fae. My father, Oberon, King of the fae blessed this water. I sense that you have the ability to heal others, but who heals you, little one?” One thing I was learning about the fae quickly was that they were talkative creatures.

“Get up, Lincoln. We’re leaving this place.” I was so confused. Should I go with her? “No,” said the king once more. I was getting the sense that it was his favorite word. “You have no dominion here. This is my court.” The Queen stepped up, shielding me from view. “He has a drop of fae blood. Are you willing to ignore that?” “A drop? That werewolf has been mixed with humans. That blood you speak of is non-existent!”

King Asnus called hesitantly, "there's something you need to know." "What, pray tell?" "The raiders, they had sharp claws and teeth. Their eyes also glowed a weird green. Thru seemed strange but they were humans, I'm not sure if…" he trailed off. Sebastian's eyes narrowed. Definitely not vampires. Green eyes… vampires were red. "I'll take care of it.
