Meliodas Mother Novels & Stories

"Now help me find our mother." Maelis stepped forward. She was holding a leather folder sealed with the Gray Reach crest. Her ancient face was troubled. "Your mother's name was Sable," Maelis said quietly. "She was a Moon-Wolf too. Weak, like you were before your first shift. The Gray Reach tracked her bloodline for years. When she gave birth to you, the detection spells rippled across half the northern territories. Thornhaven came looking. And Sable made a deal with Corvus. Her service in exchange for your life."

Ares admits, making me look to Mummo wondering how she was connected to Ares' family. "Your mother’s clan is one of the most devout group of followers to Moon Goddess Selene, they've helped protect the traditions of our species, and her relics. Your mother had a vision about Dagon when we were girls. She predicted a lot of what he has already done, including him hunting Raven and Liliana. Once he finds out how powerful Phoenix is he'll, hunt her too," Mummo explains while looking to Mum who nods, before her eyes widen. "What do these fountains look like?" Mum asks, looking from Ares to Mummo, and to Vaari again, when Osric moves behind her, sensing she is worried.

I spin around to the voice, to find someone that looked exactly like the woman in the portrait, my mother, her body transparent with a white glow around her. “What, what are you?” I stutter as her body becomes solid, her amber eyes, bright like my own. A smile spreads across her face, “Do you not recognise me dear child?” she reaches a hand out and cups my cheek, an odd sensation but as I go to grab it, my own hand falls right through. “I am your mother, the Moon Goddess sent me here as she knows you are in turmoil”. She drops her hand “He will survive Rudina, you have done all you can and now his body needs to rest”.

“Of course, Mother.” Instantly, Emilio straightened himself up again as soon as his mother entered his room with his loyal maid. At nearly half a century old, Queen Dowager Melisa was still beautiful as she smiled at both Cornell and Emilio. The woman approached her child gracefully, before gently caressing Emilio's cheek. “Lord Daedalus said that you don't come back to your study even if your break time is up. What happened, Emilio? Are you feeling unwell?”

“His Luna, was slain too. Along with their child. The corpses were... hard to identify. The battle was brutal. But the death toll matched the number of their leadership. Everyone assumed they all died in the fire. And Kasamaan? He vanished without a trace.” Draco turned to me now. “Where did you hear that name?” Before I could speak, Darius answered for me. “From her mother.” Draco blinked. “Apologies, but if I recall correctly... Lilian is your stepmother.” “Yes,” I said, my voice tight. Draco studied me for a long beat. “Then who was your real mother?” My lips parted to answer, but the truth caught in my throat. I didn’t know. Not really. And that realization hit me harder than I expected.

I stammered, unable to comprehend how mean he could be to want his daughter dead. “You are a threat to his strength, Melonie, two powerful beings from different realms came together and bore a seed, do you know how powerful you are?” She stated, gawking at me in pity. “It's a lot of Budden to carry,” she added. “And my mother…where is my mother?” I asked, returning her stare. “She died during childbirth; you were not like other children. She was the sacrifice for your birth,” she blurted out. With that, my world came crashing down around me, leaving me shattered and broken.

“And I feel something. That crown—it called to me. It belongs to me, doesn’t it?” Elias said nothing. The silence that followed was heavy with implication. Finally, he exhaled, the tension in his shoulders easing just enough for weariness to take its place. “Your mother brought you here when you were a child,” he said, voice quiet. “This chamber was meant for you—when the time was right.” Serena’s breath caught. “My mother?” “She was one of the last blood heirs of the First Circle—one of the original bloodlines tied to the Moon Goddess. You’re her only living descendant.”

As Arden’s Wolf lunged towards me with speed, the hall turned chaotic. “Elara, stay back!” My father’s voice barely reaches me. I couldn’t stay back. If I did what would happen to Arden for shifting before the Alpha, what would be my fate for grabbing onto Darius. So when he came, I didn’t resist. Until I thought of my parents, what would become of them? I turned to look. My mother was pulling my dad, I couldn’t see much because the crowd was swallowing them whole. “Elara!” It was my mum,

Opening the book to the first page, his fingertips brushed lightly over the beautiful italic-style script. 'The Erelim was confused. Maybe it's because I look like my father, I don't know. As I said, I did go to the Vaults, but I didn't go with a maledicti like you.' He looked up at me, his gaze cautious. 'The maledicti he was referring to was my mother. She was an Endorian. Like you are.' 'An Endorian?' The unfamiliar word sounded strange on my tongue as I repeated it. 'But what is that and what makes an Endorian different to an ordinary maledicti?'

Eyes sharp despite the late hour. "Theo. What's wrong?" "We need to talk. Privately." He steps into the hallway. Closes the door behind him. "What happened?" I lead him to the empty common room. Gesture for him to sit. "There's no easy way to say this," I start. "So I'm just going to say it. Your mother had another child. A daughter. Her name is Maren. She's twenty-four. Living in Seattle. And the Bloodline Project just made contact with her."
