Its light cut through the darkness, momentarily forcing the shadows to recoil. “We can’t stop here!” The shadows surged forward again, their forms twisting and merging as they attacked. Vivienne struck swiftly with her dagger, each slash dispersing a shadow temporarily. Jamie swung his skateboard with surprising precision, scattering the smaller forms before they could solidify. “They’re endless!” Crane shouted, his voice strained as he tried to adjust the resonance map. “We need to destabilize them!”

Yuki roared, chasing after the shadow eater. We were so distracted in handling the one in front of us we lost track of the ones who were still trying to get out of the crater. “Zeve! If you stagger the loading times and switch routes unpredictably, you’ll disrupt their timing.”
