SCAR

Scar locked the door turning to Cindy who was a crying mess on the floor, her dress rumpled, tears ruining her face, which is now streaked with mascara. “Let me go this minute” She ordered her voice shaking. “Yes I will,it's all in your hands, let's try this” Scar said softly, turning on the tap she watched the bathtub fill up slowly. She grabbed Cindy by the hair again, pushing her head in the water. “Whatever.” Andrea waved her objections away. “It worked. Two: So far as we know, only Haunt can detect the charmer. So we ask Scy if there is any other way he can think of, then see if he has any records from his predecessor that might indicate human/Haunt crosses in your midst.” Leo sat up. “That’s not possible!” Andrea placed a hand on her stomach. “Is. Scy did say it was rare for your women to have hard labors, seemed to think it a strong indicator of rape, maybe by Haunt. Cases of pre-labor sickness could give a strong clue.”

The man’s eyes widened, realising his mistake, he quickly typed her name into the computer. “East Wing, third floor, Room 306.” He answered casting a hesitant glance between Deagan and the computer screen. Deagan frowned at his behaviour, but thanked him and turned to follow the signs to the east wing. Deagan’s skin crawled uncomfortably in the hospital air, but he ignored it. It wasn’t until he stepped off the elevator that he couldn’t ignore it anymore. His eyes were frozen on the huge board that was practically screaming at him when he exited the elevator, written in bold red letters was the words,

Wow, I really like Aria. She's someone we can relate to and seems very down to earth... not like other stories on here. I think that's what I really like about this story. It seems like something that can happen in real life. Great start! Very well written!!

The Heir's Secret

Julian held the flash drive tighter as Clarissa’s comms crackled again. “Repeat,” the voice said. “The Foundation Building’s security system is offline. Surveillance wiped. All files purged. Floor 49 has been completely scrubbed.” Julian’s mind raced. Floor 49 wasn’t just an office; it was where they kept the contingency files, the fallback documentation for every illegal deal VanDermere Global had made under Harold’s regime. Boyd veered and jump down from the table he sat while Red Mantis breathe heavily and walked towards the figure who seemed to be some kind of Computer tech genius "Seir, some minutes ago, our devices seems to have took some readings on some weird energy coming out at the 4th floor and now that I had just looked into it, there seems to be some unknown Intruders and I found this!" Royal fights for positions and ranks was dirty game, and I hoped he'd survive even though he laid his hands on dirt too. “True.” I agreed, as Piper’s face flashed in my head. “I guess we should head back to the tower, I’ve held you longer and I’m not sure your dear husband would be pleased.” He teased, but this time, I choose to ignore him. “When would those eggs hatch?” I asked as we climbed the stairs, leading up. “Nmm, let's say in a four forth nights.” He replied. As we got off the last stair, the stairs disappeared and the ground closed like it was never there before.

Sarah, how do I know which one? She spoke urgently into the microphone. Look for the code SC-47, a blue vial. Got it. Grabbing it now. Blue Horizon. There it was. A single, encrypted P*F file. He clicked open. The ledger numbers filled the screen. He pulled out a scrap of paper from his pocket, the one Sophia had texted him from Luc’s notes, and began to compare the digits. 0-4-4-2-9-1. They matched. Every single number matched perfectly. Marcus let out a long, shaky breath, a sudden, wild laugh escaping his lips. "You stupid bitch," he whispered to the empty room. "You actually did it. You got greedy."

THE ALPHA'S BILLIONAIRE ROGUE: HER TRIPLE REGRET

THE ALPHA'S BILLIONAIRE ROGUE: HER TRIPLE REGRET

As the Static Blanket dissolved, the vacuum left behind was filled with a new kind of sound, a high-pitched, metallic whine that vibrated in the teeth of every shifter in the city. Leo Vane stood in the center of the Chiyoda plaza, his boots crunching on the glass shards of the Ghost-Tower. Around him, millions of people were stumbling out of buildings, clutching their heads, their neural-links glowing white-hot as they disconnected from the Architect’s grid. "Leo, we have to move," Ren shouted, his eyes fixed on his frequency-mapper. "The Shadow Council isn't just sending drones. They’ve triggered Protocol 99." "What is Protocol 99?" Maya asked, her golden Force flaring as she shielded a
