The face was all scratched up, and anything on her body that could prove her identity was taken away, so we suspect it's an intentional murder. Hearing that the body was salvaged from Salakole, Winston paused for a moment, then he put on his sterile gloves with a poker face. I floated in mid-air, staring at the man in front of me. Three years... It had been three years since I died. After I died, my soul was trapped in Salakole, suffering in the fierce wind and freezing weather all day. Until someone found me, they brought me back. But I didn't expect that Winston was the person who would personally dissect me.

Hoping fiercely that they were not involved. With sadness clouding her usually vivid green eyes, Annalise barely spoke above a whisper. "They died. During the rogue rebellions. My parents were warriors...great warriors and wonderful alphas. I was their only child and they loved me." Annalise had to take a gulp of water before continuing. " I was only seven when I was told by their Beta that they had been lost during one of the rogues midnight raids. He took the position of Alpha after that and now his son is the Alpha but he is not good."

I was told by Xian. "You're going to go another dimension for me. You'll make the journey to the afterlife. To the dead people's land. A farther sphere. The final resting place of all supernatural beings." He spoke making my eyes widen at him. I blinked wide my eyes in extreme confusion "What precisely am I doing in the afterlife? What if I'm unable to escape? What precisely am I going to see? A group of deceased individuals roaming a cemetery that resembles a graveyard?" I questioned.

I stared at the celling for a while, I could not yet bring myself to the realisation that Yagami was dead. Life is like a midst, appears for just a day then disappears tomorrow. All that we have can quickly fade away replace with tears and sorrow, if a man should die, can he live again? This was the question I asked myself, I did not know what to say, I did not know the answer, could a man really live again? I haven't heard of a man waking up from the dead, except for the tales of Jesus Christ, when he raised people from the dead.

I shrug faintly, suddenly feeling humbled. The little girl pops out from the woman again and skips toward me, her laughter echoing in the serene air. Bolder this time, she takes my hand and tugs at it, looking up at me with innocent eyes, and I cannot help but smile. The little girl starts to skip around me. Turning my attention to the woman, I ask the question that has been gnawing at me since I woke up, "Am I dead? Is this the afterlife?" The woman throws her head back and laughs. ""What is after life?"

She was born with heterochromia(her left eye was green, while the other was hazel). "What do I tell them?" He mindlinked his wife. "Help me." "Old age," Aimee responded, much to Alpha Logan's relief. Carla hummed, turning back to peek at the grave from under her thick lashes. Taylor shifted her weight to her right leg, and fused her brows in deep thoughts. "What happens when we die?" "Our souls move to the afterlife, where there is no pain, but joy," Alpha Logan responded. "Are we going to die too?" Taylor inquired, tilting her head to the side, and flitting her gaze past the other tombstones.

Having a part of myself on the outside, interacting with me like we were two separate beings, was weird as fuck. To calm both of us, I continued to fill the vast space with my voice. "Close as I can guess, we're dead, buddy. That would make this the Underworld... Or at least a boat on its way to the Underworld." I had no idea which. Sure, I’d learned about the afterlife and the Underworld in school—as a theory. No one really knew where supernaturals went after our relatively long lives were snuffed out. This void space, the silence painful, was not what I’d envisioned. I felt so removed from the real world, from earth and my life.

Your soul just goes there to stay for a while. Researching more about Afterlife,I found out that in very rare cases some people do pass from the Afterlife to another life. Normally this happens to people who have uncompleted jobs on planet Earth,they will be sent back as another person to go complete the job and then they will die and get back to spend their eternity at the place they were supposed to.

When someone dies, no matter how intense their emotions were in life, they all turn to calm. After Eulalia died, she became a wandering soul. She had thought about various possibilities of the afterlife while she was alive, like the god of death coming to take her soul, meeting Satan. At worst, she thought she would see other dead people like her parents, grandparents, and Vincent, who never forgot to carry her home before he died... But there was none of that. She was the only special existence in all things between heaven and earth. She could see the living, but they couldn't see her.

He said, honestly. “Yeah..” She sighed. “I wonder. Say, hypothetically–what if, a person has already lived a life–you know, the usual, going to school, working, getting married maybe–like that. Then, let’s say the person died, leaving her family behind. But she didn’t totally disappear, her soul has inhabited a girl’s body and she was no longer in the same time as when she died anymore, she went to the past–and to a different country at that.. The thing is–she made a promise to the husband that she left behind–that they would still be together in the afterlife. So I wonder–how would they meet? Is what happened to her considered the afterlife?” Silence.
