There was no hearing the end of it from Sophie and Fiona. The feeling eased and I felt like I stumbled into a new area. My eyes widened and I looked at the horror before me. It wasn’t like the ball of darkness that I had. This was its own monster. Tendrils lashed out at nothing while others curled up around itself. I was looking at a kraken. An inky, poisonous, mass of evil that was consuming the entire space.

Could a nickname get even more insulting! "Get in the boat!" Natasha blinks. "What?" Okay, who cares if my other form frightens this one?! I've had enough and want to get off this island already! I lock eyes with Natasha shape-shift without a care in the world. Before the crazy one's eyes, I become the Kraken. I might lack tentacles, but my size is horrendous. The list of boats I've accidentally sunk by flipping my tail is only growing. "Oh, wow, it's happening!"

It’s a shoal of rare giant squids each a league in length. But few blue Slayers dare to hunt the reclusive monsters in their home in the deep sea.
